  2. Hi Guys/gals, Just wanted to invite the Perth V35/350Z community to our dyno day, we'd love to see some of you there. Hopefully I can encourage my Mrs to put her 350Z onto the Dyno, so would be great to have some V35's and 350's along. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...ml#entry4958442 Please feel free to pass this along to other V35s Forums etc Cheers Paul
  3. SAUWA Dyno Day AutoWorx Wangara Alistair has recently moved shops, and he and the crew at AutoWorx have invited us for a "Dyno Day" at their new premises! SAUWA is excited to take up this offer, as it's been a long time since the last dyno day, and we've had alot of new members join since then. We'd also like to treat this as our final catchup for 2009, so we hope as many people as possible come down to socialise aswell. Event: ........... "Dyno Day" Where: .......... AutoWorx, 30 Automotive Drv, Wangara, Western Australia, 6065 When: ............ December 13th. 10:30am - 4pm Cost: ..............Non SAUWA members $50. SAUWA Members $40 (Membership card must be shown ) Dyno Used: AWD Dyno Dynamics Roller Dyno (in ground) Classes: ......... Highest HP - RB20 ....................... Highest HP - RB25 ....................... Highest - RB26 and bigger ....................... Highest HP - Naturally Aspirated (Non-turbo any capacity) ....................... Highest HP Outright Each category will have a trophy provided by SAUWA!! Each car will get 3 runs, with a printout of AFR's and Boost available SAUWA will also provide snacks and drinks available at $2 per hotdog and $1 per drink. There are limited places available so prebook and prepay to me as soon as possible to avoid missing out. Anyone who has booked/paid and does not attend will not get a refund. Please make sure your car is properly prepared (Fuel, oil, water etc). In regards to low cars, as the dyno is built into the ground there should be no issues with getting on to the dyno. Please be sure to respect "AutoWorx's" rules! They're providing us a great facility, so make sure you respect it. We'd like to make this a big event seeing as it's the last for the year, so if you know other people or clubs that might be interested (doesn't have to be Skyline)then please feel free to invite them. If you would like to know anything further please just post it up and ill see if I or someone else can get the answer. 4. Alistair is a good guy
  5. How far through your diploma are you ?
  6. Just to clarify, this is nothing to do with SAUWA, which is the car club, these are SAU Forum rules, which have been in place for many years.
  7. Mate, if you don't want advice then don't post here, post in the Wanted to Buy For Sale Section.
  8. Dude, if you're budget is that tight I would even start a track project, I spend more on tyres than you want to spend on a rolling chassis.
  9. Bart, Say congrats to Will, I'm more impressed with the 55sec at Wanners though, and I know that was only the first few test laps, so sure it has more in it
  10. Alternator, but cheaper to get your battery checked first.
  11. Good work Now post some pics, so we can all have some closure in our lives I've been up worrying all night whether you would make the right decision
  12. Patrick, Your best bet is to trawl through the various For Sale sections and see what sort of prices people are asking for there stuff. Price will vary depending on how quick you want to offload the stuff.
  13. ^^^ That's what I'd do
  14. You confirmed the CAS plug is on ?
  15. Most likely when fitting the Profec B you've cut or grounded a wire accidentally, which is causing the issue.
  16. Tell him to join SAU, then we can all tell him how wrong he is
  17. Check you have spark.
  18. Put the Volks on, and tell your mate you can no longer be friends as he is a douche
  19. Do they do there own machining too ?
  20. Obviously not you I like my license, so a little bit of sensible isn't a bad thing
  21. There's not too many places that do machining and building, apart from some of the bigger V8 workshops. There is a Consolidated Workshop thread with a list of numerous workshops around http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Co...hr-t191756.html. I'd try Kensei Garage as they specialise in Silvia's, but will most likely send it out to be machined.
  22. Yep, I've had it since day 1 on SAU
  23. If Sam changed his avatar then I wouldn't recognise him, I say it stays
  24. 7 days of driver training makes them good enough to do high speed chases ?
  25. It's a long motor, so comes with all the bits, so it's not really that bad. I still don't think the N1 blocks are worth the extra $$$ IMHO.
