  1. Esperance is a great little town, but stuff driving there when you can fly down
  2. In WA aslong as your eligible to apply for CPEng, then most places don't care if you're CPEng or not, and there certainly is no difference in pay
  3. CPEng just means you can fill in paperwork, means nothing as to the competence of the person. Most of the CPEng's I know couldn't engineer there way out of a wet paper bag.
  4. Hopefully the bit in the top right gives you some idea, I know I have a full engine bay shot somewhere, I'll try and dig out.
  5. I don't do Dyno's anymore, not since 600rwhp stopped being a big figure. Track is much more fun
  6. Never use semi-slicks on dyno's you'll wreck them. Cheap shitter tyres with plenty of tyre pressure if your better option. Sounds like the car needs to be strapped down a bit more. Most dyno's can handle way more powerful cars that that without any issues, so I think the operators need some more practice.
  7. Hi Levi, I've been inside the fence line a few times with Photographers and film crews, all you need to do is sign on as Media. You're best off to contact WASCC and confirm with them what the process is, but it's normally very easy.
  8. Is that all ? I should have gone
  9. Any idea what the highest 6cyl Forced Induction put out ?
  10. Never bothered wit CPEng, can't see the point in yet another bit of paper telling you that you can be an engineer, from a bunch of old dudes who don't do any real engineering anymore
  11. Well done mate
  12. I always keep a breaker-bar handy as may need to put alot of force onto some of the arms in order to put the coilovers back in.
  13. It's not a hard job if you have all the tools on hand.
  14. You can't do it by yourself ? I have some spring clamps if you need, but they're up in Ellenbrook.
  15. Stock.
  16. Take it to a workshop and put it on a dyno.
  17. If you do a search then you'll soon find out what the going rate is.
  18. Don't tell me you've never been to Karratha ? It's not as bad as Port Hedland, but still plenty of red dust. Nothing to worry about, but a really good panel filter is a must, stop the dust getting into the engine. Doubt the dust is going to damage the paintwork, but it will be hard to keep it clean. Only other worries you might have is the car being stolen, as Karratha isn't the safest town in Oz, and black cars will get damn hot in the summer sun.
  19. When I was working out at Cape Lambert 40mins from Karratha I used to drive into town, and there were a couple Skylines there, but not many I'm afraid. A good air filter is a must, to keep out the red dust
  20. Ok, so if I deposit $170 to you you'll send them to me in Perth ?
  21. Wow, that is one of the best shots I've seen
  22. So how is that any different to a workshop doing work to it and then taking it for a test drive to confirm everything is ok before they give it back to you ? Seriously you guys need to toughen up a bit, or do the work yourselves
  23. I've been a number of times, it's very useful if you make mods to your car to be able to test out how well they perform in a nice safe environment It only costs about $85 for the event, and you get expert tuition from the instructors
  24. Sam, So you'll be competing ? Haven't been to one of these in ages, but baby is due around then, so chances are I'll have to go to one later in the year.
