  1. Hopefully the guy looses his license for a long while. Wonder if his car will be confiscated under the hoon law ?
  2. Sweet looking ride
  3. Would have liked to have been there, but we have a wedding on
  4. Yes, but the cost normally doesn't make it worthwhile IMHO.
  5. Any tyre shop will be able to take the tyres off the rims no problems, but I doubt they'll be happy to have your car sitting around on stands whilst you get them powder-coated. Your best bet would be to place the car on stands at home, then take the tyres/rims to the tyre place, have them removed the tyres, take the rims to get coated, then return to the tyre shop to have the tyres put back on, and put the rims back on your car.
  6. So that means I can get a flamethrower too ? Cool
  7. Post in this section for more luck http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wa...-Area-f180.html
  8. Frank the Mole Cricket
  9. Yep, a Mole Cricket, found one in my garden the other day too. Kinda freaky looking
  10. Good read Dan
  11. I knew what you meant
  12. Dude, I had to google Robert Pattison to find out who he was, now I know you're a card carrying member of his fan club The Trophy is with us, as only SAUWA Members get to keep it
  13. Chi was the closest to the 16th post, and he's a SAUWA Member, so he can be the winner
  14. Karl, One of the best things I'd recommend is doing a driver training day, best way to learn the capabilities of your car in a nice safe environment
  15. Yeah, a few minor mods, roll cage, brakes and suspension. Still plenty enough to have fun in the right hands Have fun when you go.
  16. Well they're not really anything close to a V8 Supercar, but most people still have heaps of fun in them. If you don't do any circuit racing then it will seem like heaps of fun.
  17. I already have a fancy oil cap, so I'll help bump this along so someone else can win Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone, drive safe and we'll see you back here next year
  18. I assume you're talking about the 595RS's, in which case I agree, although for the money I'd rather go a real semi-slick.
  19. I'll chase Alistair up for it
  20. You want drag tyres just for the drag strip, or you want semi-slicks for road/circuit ? For the drag strip I'd go Mickey Thompson Street ET's, and for circuit racing Bridgestone RE55's
  21. I like Sundays
  22. Sounds like a fun day Any pics or footage would be great
  23. To be honest, with the exception of the Hilux, most cars there definately had conservative tunes with there fueling, and there wasn't any pinging even on such a hot day. Most of the cars with ECU's would have had the timing well and truly retarded, which would account for much of the power loss.
