  1. I was using stock cams previously, and still managed to get 450rwhp. They were Apexi cams, and got then in a Japanese auction
  2. Not sure if it will be dry, there is a chance of a shower on Thursday
  3. Why would you want to put a set of GTR cams in for ? Keeping the VCT is the best idea. I run 270deg 8.9mm of lift in my RB25, retaining the VCT, and the engine makes over 400rwkw and redline of 8500rpm. The only benefit of the solid lifters is you can rev higher, but most people don't need more than 8000rpm.
  4. Danny, No worries, I'll be ready for a re-match
  5. This is the article from Drift Australia
  6. Awesome event, and taken out by a WA local is great to see Well done to all the WA entrants, especially. Borneo Drift Mikey Gav You've shown that WA isn't that far behind the rest of OZ. Well done.
  7. Jason, Simple story really. Don't run slick tyres with radials on the front, cause there is a high chance you can spin Yes, seem's like I'm making a habit of facing the wrong way, which I'm sure won't change when I go to Wanners on Thursday night
  8. Haha, you were miles gone by the time I ended up like that, but pity there isn't a vid to show the real story I will admit your ET's kicked my ass all night. I was however happy with the 125mph terminal speed and 0.007 reaction time. I may well be down in two weeks time to try my luck again
  9. Haha, yeah, your right any construction work will cost 3times the amount and take twice as long to complete. It sounds like PIM doesn't know what it's doing if it hasn't even spoken to the governing body of racing in Oz
  10. Haha, I was watching the WIN News last night (I was in Karratha) and there hyping up all this Bunbury track business, but without CAMS approval it would be dead in the water. Hopefully they'll contact CAMS and kiss some ass quick-smart to make this happen
  11. Just a reminder that this on is Thursday 1st of March. There is a great lineup of cars, including about 8 Skylines, so either join in the fun, or coming along and watch ($5 for spectators). Cheers Paul
  12. Bye Ant, It's been great meeting you, and we really appreciate your input into the SAUWA Committee. Pass on our love to Nat and Zak, and make sure you let us know when your coming back to WA, as I'll put the passenger seat back in mine to take you for a spin
  13. Haha, funny shit Was glad everyone enjoyed themselves, even if the times weren't what we all hoped for
  14. Dan, I don't think Simonr32 can be a SAUWA member and a Westlife fan, the two are mutually exclusive
  15. The guy at staging kept telling Mikey to turn them off, but finally gave up just shaking his head
  16. Yes, after the first pass on slicks and a close call with the wall I was relagated to using street tyres, which didn't make for any fast times, but still a great night. If someone has footage of the spin then please post it up In a total of 4 passes I spun, shredded my wheel nuts, and blew off my intercooler hose. But it could have been much worse. At least I gave the commentators something to chat about
  17. I'll lend him mine, and I'll wear yours
  18. arkon, I'll bring a spare helmet if you get stuck.
  19. Make sure you all introduce yourselves to each other, we'll all be in the same lane, so don't act like strangers
  20. Should be a great night, warm dry track
  21. Brad, Sounds good
  22. I've just picked up my car, so assuming I don't crash between now and tommorow night, GAME ON !
  23. Haha, I want Mikey to put them on, gives us all someone to laugh at
  24. Brad, I have no idea, but I'll have fun trying
  25. Can we make tee-off at 2ish instead of 1ish ?
