  1. Brian, What would you use to duct cool air to the rotors, mine seem to get hot and cause a bit of fading by the end of 3 hot laps. Cheers Paul
  2. I've paid for me and Niz
  3. Yeah, I saw it going around Wanners and it didn't look like it had enough grunt to get the wheels frying. Better luck for Mallala. Cat still seemed to draw a crowd though
  4. Cam, No worries mate, anytime. Luckily I was in the right place to have your question answered
  5. I know a few people who've broken theres, but whether that is due to the box or there driving it's hard to determine. With any dog engagement you'll find you have to do alot of maintenance on it.
  6. Haha, lamest Whoretown ever
  7. I've already got my copy ready to give to Dale, so you may aswell hold onto yours
  8. I'm running a 235/45/17 on 9inch rims, although I could have gone a 255/40/17 instead. Looking around the $370-400 mark.
  9. Nice car Cam, and glad you finally sold your old beast I agree the rims need replacing, but other than that I wouldn't mod it much
  10. Keep checking your coolant levels regularly for the first few days, then you should be fine
  11. Brockas, Yeah, the 200-600rwhp transition is fairly quick, but I love it Will wind down the boost for next time though
  12. Brockas, You don't have to lie to Dan, he knows the truth I would have to agree, that having an instructor drive youuur car is one of the best things you can do. You realise the potential of your car, and they give you tips on what to improve. In my case they wanted less power
  13. Brad, Running the gtst calipers. With your setup you should be fine with a change of pads. Either Ferrodo or Pagid.
  14. Brad, DD is definately the easier option, PM me your details.
  15. Dude, it's one hell of a job to replace. I went for the easy option and just bypassed the whole thing
  16. Brad, I'm running Hawk race pads, RDA sloted rotors, and braided brake lines, and I was noticing some fade, but was able to last 3 hot laps ok.
  17. Danny, The next event is April 12th, I'm already signed up. Not sure if winng made a difference, but this is the first event the car hasn't spun, so maybe I'm onto something
  18. This event was last night, and I've got to say it was the best motorsport event I've ever done. Next event is 12th of April, so get your names down now, you won't be dissapointed
  19. I ran these tyres last night around Barbagello Raceway, and I must admit I was very impressed. Managed to keep 600rwhp on the track, and then I was able to drive them home If your car isn't a dedicated track car then these seem like a very resonable option.
  20. I've just bought a set of these, and will be racing on them tonight. They are apparently not as soft as other R-comps, but that suits me fine as I want them for road use too. Will let you know how they go after tonight.
  21. Bloody women, always throwing out my stuff, when they have issues of NW, Womens Weekly etc Yes, I do have issue 37
  22. Mitchy, You have no vent on your rockerr covers ? Why ? That would definately cause issues.
  23. Yeah, we'll still go as hard as the weather allows us
  24. Well there are 8 Skylines this time, so we should have a fair few times to add, altough if it's wet they won't be real quick
  25. Haha, it was going to hard enough for me to stay on the track in the dry, let alone in the wet
