awesum day glad the weather held up at the last min! i def think we should hold these cruises more often by the way i was in the white s15 but i previously had an R33 so ive been a member of SAU for ages its good to see 2 car clubs come together and everyone was really friendly

Perfect Run stock them and they have the quickest delivery time out of any company ive ordered from i always get parts within a week or 2

jeez thats bad! yeh i know how it feels i had my skyline badged they even tried to rip off the boot badge little fckers word of warning aswell BE CAREFULL PUTTING STUFF IN YOUR BOOT! a friend got her car broken into just last week at south perth foreshore becoz she thought she would do the right thing and put her valuables in the boot only to come back later and find out someone watched her put it in her boot then as soon as she left smashed her window they were obviously watching as the only things stolen were the things in her boot and it happened in the space of half an hour

find a warehouse they make for great shots we did a warehouse photo shoot for our s15 club also i think its the city of stirling building near the new ikea i know alot of ppl do photoshoots there

27 is over priced in my opinion i think you should shop around more i looked ast R34s last year before i ended up buying my s15 and there were alot of nice ones with less k's for around the 24thous mark go buy the autotrader theres always a few in there or if you choose to import go through prestige motorsport i used them for my first skyline jeff is really helpfull just be prepared to wait as it take a fair few months for shipping compliancing etc.

nice stand guys! BTW whos cars were they? i cant believe how packed it was took us like half an hour just to get in and out of the carpark i think perth needs more well organised car events like this (minus the packed expensive carpack)

hey guys finally got a new car and sorry to say but ive ditched the R33 and gotten an S15 ill put photos up when i get a chance to take some anyways i have a new head deck and front speakers to put in to replace the crappy double din can anyone reccomend a mobile car stereo installer? thanks heaps

brett! long time no hear buddy yeh ive thought about doing the R32 or R33 GTR but i really dont want an older car plus im so over the amount of 33's and 32's everywhere but mainly insurance is a bitch haha and yeh nah not into the rex's like i used to be haha im thinkin about checking a few car yards just to see whats out there and what prices i can get but everything is such a rip off in perth

ahhh thanks heaps for your help guys so seems like importing a jap spec R would be the best option? yeh ive noticed all the R34s around at the moment are pretty stock standard and still fairly expensive here but the prices are dropping in japan apparently

hey guys havent used the forum in ages but i need some urgent and honest opinions finally sold the non turbo R33 which ive had for 4years now and its time to upgrade and im still trying to decide between an R34 and an an S15 i know this is a stupid question to ask in a Skylines forum but i basically wanna spend around the mid 20's on it and im after something with low k's and some minor mods so first question is R34 or S15? i originally had my heart set on an R34 but seems i can find a cheaper S15 with less K's for around the same price but im guessing an R34 would be a better drive and more power? i imported the last car and am still deciding on whether to import again im not the most patient of people so waiting 8-12 weeks will kill me plus ill be without a car and have to organise a rental but i believe ill save around 5grand after looking into it so second question is import or not? ive also found that there a fair few cheaper ones over east has anyone bought a car over east? any help would be muchly appreciated thanks!

yeh complete crap more revenue raising they emphasise on speeding so much but i remember in Motor magazine they did a breakdown of accidents and fatalities ages ago and found the hardly any were caused by speeding most were from reckless or drink driving and ive been to countries where they manage fine without speed limits if they wanna do something then they should teach people to drive better not slower

i got in trouble for having one mounted on my dash apparently u arent allowed stuff on your dash there goes my soft toy collection

the whole system is a crock of crap sorry to say they can pretty much keep failing you everytime if they feel like it and thats not rite the fact u can fail at one pits and pass at another is pretty stupid im about to take my car through for a second time fingers crossed i pass coz im so over it, i have never even modified mine and yeh ive been told they cant check stuff that isnt written on your slip is this right or wrong coz i got done for things that werent written on the sheet funnily enuf nothing that was on the sheet was brought up

dont go to east perth either! i just failed also because my wipers were faded and silver and i dont have sum stupid child safety clips and my exhaust is 2 loud yet it passed over the pits with the same exhaust at welshpool a while back so annoying

got the dent repaired but now the airbag light wont stop flashing any ideas how to fix this?

well i went down to the pits today and they tell me that they cant do anything about it apparently im supposed to argue it with the officer that gave it to me? what the hell havent heard of that before

the stuff i have to fix is everything listed in the first post but the main worry is the crash on the side i was hoping i could just ask them about fixing it before i go pay for it to get fixed but looks like ill still have to pay the initial pit fee yeh i know just thought id ask, as a friend got his girlfriend to say she borrowed the car while he was away and got a yellow and she doesnt know anything haha but yeh i guess they wud hav the driver at the time noted yep so true i played the game and i lost haha i bit my tongue and didnt argue or anything but i guess he was down on his quota for the month or something thanks strich9 finally someone answers the questions
