  1. Go the Ford
  2. hahaha sorry mate I was just being cheeky
  3. MATE please turn the caps off
  4. mate don't question yourself at all, you'll get there 100% at the drags its just a matter of practice and before you know it you'll be nailing it
  5. Yeah for sure, I guess we all look/think about our cars in different ways and just becuse we disagree doesn't mean we both can't be right or wrong its all good I said that about the times and ES I ran because I don't doubt he will run a good time in the long run and I know that ES is a good indication of power once you get your 60ft down under 2 and change gears accordingly
  6. Steve thats good and if its not your thing well its not your thing But I had many meets that I ran low 13's with a mph of 113-114 but I fianally learnt how to launch and change gears a bit better and bang its at 122mph, Just let him take his time no one said he had to run the great time over night and when he does get it all right he'll shut everyone up thats doubting him and he will of had the self satisfaction of doing it himself
  7. hahaha honestly I can't drive for shit and its has taken me 4 meets at EC to get to a time I am half happy with and we only get 3 runs per meet, Its a bit of a cop out letting someone alse drive your car as once again why have the power if you can't use it
  8. Duncan did you go to Bathurst today?
  9. Wait a minute it was a joke? ... I thought the exhaust was a joke because it was so quiet I didn't know the power figure wasn't real, WTF is going on hehehe
  10. damn I found it very funny and the 3 people around me agreed it was amazing how quiet it was making that much power hahahahaha
  11. Wait or could this be like some of those fudged dyno figures I've been reading about mmm very strange, and I heard it was on stock HIGH FLOW turbo's and stock injectors .... very strange
  12. 600.1AWKW I really hate GTR's
  13. I ran my car 3 weeks ago at Unigroup on shootout mode and only made 5.5rwkw less today at CRD on non shootout so it wasn't to different
  14. Sydneykid why was it that Ben Ellis said to me that he went with the 2 way diff for traction? And wanted to know how it lowered my times 60ft if I bought it off him when he was selling his parts?
  15. Sydneykid, I may be way off line here hehehe but I wsa under the impression that a 2 way diff lets you put the power down better as its more like a locker diff and a 1.5 way fiff is better for track work where you go around corners When I'm warming my tyres up sometimes one wheel stops spinning which makes me think the same thing is probably happening as i'm launching and changing gears, So surely with a 2 way diff this wont happen and it will help me with traction?
  16. Would you mind telling me what the other cars are and some details please, are they on the forum? I'm mainly interested in the 60ft, mph and ET as it amazes me what our cars are capable of with the RB25 and not 3L bot ends or RB26 transplants We don't have that many really fast GTSTs that go to the drags here, high 11's low 12's is about the best of them on street tyres
  17. Mate your cars set up just keeps getting better and better, sounds like you've thought it out well, Hopefully we'll see more then just 2 Skylines in the HPI RWD 2400cc and over Street Drag Challenge soon it would be very nice to see 4 of us in there http://www.hpi.com.au/drag_records.php
  18. I need one of those 2 way diffs too, I've been saving up for one hopefully I'll get it in the next few weeks, what ratio are you getting?
  19. No Steve sorry it wasn't just aimed at you, as I know you will race and have raced in the past, theres plenty of people I know with big power though that don't race or have raced and just can't get the times because all they've got is a dyno sheet hahaha and not a well tuned car with good midrange/useable power Your a lucky guy though getting a fully prepped track to race on, Hopefully soon with the new drag strip being opened in Sydney we'll get a fair go too and more then 3 runs a night/fortnight
  20. tom thanks mate, but to be honest we all have our problems and nightmares with our biggish hp cars but some of us keep working and trying different things till we get there, and can show the full potential of our cars, others I'm sure make up excuses becuse there cars just aren't up to the task even though they've got a dyno sheet saying they've got the HP to do it,
  21. I keep reading about all these wild cars with big hp but where are the times?
  22. hahaha Andrew in future keep your distance hahahaha
  23. hahaha Ben I've already done a 1.8 60ft but at a lower mph because I was changing gears like a granny as I wasn't used to the c's short shifter yet, So if you do the math and I run another 1.8 60ft with a touch higher mph then 122 its good for a bit better then 11.6 I think I remeber you saying the same thing to me Ben about going from 12.2 to 11's hahaha when I told you 11's were next The bad thing is its easier said then done For sure Dan anytime you want to come just let me know mate, I'd love the company
  24. No need yet babs, I want to get the very best time I can with the current tune/set up then I've got a couple of changes planned
  25. I put everything in my signature so people can see
