So basically what your trying to say is using the standard throttle body and plenum is just as good as if not more efficient than a front fed plenum?

I do agree with what you say about "you get what you pay for" however I would say any larger intercooler is better than the standard unit copy or not.

Even if the custom plenum doesnt give gains in horsepower which is debatable there would still be sustantial gains in throttle response in the form of reduced throttle lag am I correct. And wouldnt the shorter pipes improve inlet temps thus horsepower? Looks like an awesome unit John and I know Plasmaman fabricate some excellent stuff. If I had the cash Id put one on my line for sure...........maybe sometime in the future. Cheers Michael

G'day Benny hows it goin? I think the cheapest Ive seen the copy Hybrid kits for are around $800.00 and the real Hybrid kits for around $1200.00. I got a copy cooler of you but I havent got the piping yet cos been getting Fu(ked around a bit. So dont know if it fully fits yet. UAS are selling a piping kit for around $620.00 might go there. I thnk most of those fake Hybrid kit come with 3 pipes only. The piping being 2.5 inch with reducers coming out of the inlet and outlets. I would assume the r32,33,34 would be similar piping as they all have the crossover inlet manifold. I would also like toknow how anyone ins going with the fitting of the fake coolers and piping? Oi Benny you try and start a piping kit group buy?

Gday Mick, Have a look at the group buys section on this forum heaps of people have been selling brand new Hybrid copies from china for around $300.00 then all you have to do is organise the piping which is around $700.00 then labour if your not gonna install it yourself. Ive heard good things about these coolers for the price you are getting very good value. I just got mine but havent got piping yet.

I saw a video on this race last year sometime, I dont know if it was the same thing but I think the race was for charity. Everybody was getting booked and pulled over. I dont see how something like this could be legal on normal roads.

G'day, I dont think the size of the turbo is what you have too worry about in regards to the damage of the engine, of course there are limitations of boost but I would be more concerned with a good tune, fuel supply and cooling to support your chosen application. I know the standard internals can support around 250rwkw you would be pushing it going much higher. My 2c

Check all your hoses and make sure there isnt a leak somewhere then try winding the bleeder both ways and testing it. Cant see why it wouldnt work unless the bleeder has been installed wrong?

Hows it goin mate? Is the size of your intercooler 300x600x76? If so.... Ill give you $250 for the intercooler piping kit only with all the bolts and silicon joints?? You should be able to sell the cooler separate. Cheers Mik

Hey dude, Im pretty sure the o2 sensor is the sensor that sits in your dump pipe near the back of your turbo. I dont know how to hook your gauge tho sorry, there should be instructions that came with the gauge that would direct you in the right direction. :headspin:

Probably better to look into importing straight from Japan mate. Youd have to do a bit of research into finding a nice 550 hp example but there would definitely be an abundance of them over there.

You guys in Melbourne get it tough, from what I hear there pretty strict on imported cars. Sydney can be bad in areas but not that bad. FWD? what the Fu(k..... couldnt he see that you had wider wheels on the back....goose. Obviously they dont know shit all about the cars were driving but know enough to defect you. The cops in Sydney easier going but still have no clue about skylines, eg my mate told a cop that his shiny ass intercooler was a radiator the cop just nodded.
