  1. scottman - congratz on the car dude well done on saving up... I've always loved the 33's - my 'line of choice. Im in melb and was debating whether to get a 33.. but cant get turbs on it and didnt really want a 32, i feel they're a bit old - gr8 car either way. Best of luck for the test mate hope all goes well. lance.
  2. Corvette's wheels on the Koenigsegg CCR - that thing looks ****in sweet
  3. Go manual mate, you will enjoy it far more especially in a skyline... I've learned manual when i was 16/17 no problems at all, so it's not too hard at all. Put in the extra effort and go get a manual license, specially if you thinkin bout smokin the rear.
  4. Pic is nice... apart from that piece of shit on wheels in the foreground :talk2hand
  5. aha well said.. But i reckon in the end... a P-plater usually want to go with a higher powered better looking car. I'm 19 but dont drive a turbo or really fast car im waiting till off my P's. But i know how a p-plater thinks - being one and all... the years of experience just arent at hand like they are to others...
  6. I'd like to open my own business as well some day. Best of luck dude
  7. I guess people won't learn until they have an accident sadly
  8. Precisely... they don't say anything to you, thats the idea. You had a dented front bar - hardly anything anyone would kick up a fuss about. But what will happen if you have a more serious crash and they question the speed you're going at - then they check out your car and think 'Oh, it's over power to weight its your own fault'. = Car smashed up, no insurance + losing alot of money In the end it's your choice mate, but i'd have a careful read of the policies and go over every single detail just to cover yourself - so at least you know what you're in for...
  9. get rid of GTR badge... and insurance is gonna be a bitch man... If your over power to weight then in the event of a claim, it is most likely gonna be rejected... nice car anyways
  10. Well, i think they'll do one when someone goes to ACA and says do a section on this - and show the public what REAL car enthusiasts are like. Hard working, incredibly proud of their rides and most of all playing it like everyone else does. Why doesnt someone just ring them up and tell them they want to do a seciton on it. Get a group of skyliners from here or where ever, and go for it! I think the public will be eye opened at how down to earth and 'non dickheadish' most of us are... my2c
  11. Holy shit jus watched the vid.. certainly puts my car to shame.. nice run
  12. Wouldn't it be common sense to know that forcing movement at a low force wouldn't do much. And especially with an engine...?
  13. Hey guys, i've searched through the forums and maybe it's because i don't know how to locate things properly but i couldn't find what iw as looking for. New to the skyline scene, i've been looking around for either a 32 or 33 GTS. Preferably one that hasn't been thrashed and for no higher than 13-14K? I just need to know some good importers possibly or some places that have imported cars. Ive been searching, but i just would like to get the latest from you guys. I need quite a bit of help. So anything will be great. Thanks alot.
  14. Hey man i'm in the same boat as you.. Before you do anything have a good read through this post.
