this is gtr00r. nice car the owner is the brother of cyber motorsport. good guy. has a set of n1 turbos because when they where doing some work on it the owner forgot to take out all the rages killed the turbos.

does anyone know where i can get stout c/f products from such as bonnets, exhuast cover etc etc thanks norm

a heat gun and a paint scraper. if you use a heat gun be very very careful you can cause some damage if you dont know what your doing.

nice sub same one in my old skool capri makes some big sound even though it has a petrol tank behind the rear seat. i use a kicker mono block to run mine. (note its a 71 capri not a convertable capri)

do you have air con in your car? it was either the nismos or the n1's that dont have air con

its not actually the reflectors, the globes need to be the coloured glass globes. if they are the clear globes with the rubber things over them thats when you can get defected. but thats not saying some cop wont defect you if you have the right globes in. but it is legal to have them with the correct globes.

yep stock spot in gtr. i replaced the stock with 2 hks ssq's with no problems

becuase an r32 gtr intercooler can run about .9-1 bar efficently before it starts to restrict the turbos(run out of flow capacity). an r34 gtr cooler flows a bit better from memory its about 1.2 bar

nice run jono, good to see you got your car tuned. you still running the stock intercooler? that might be your bigest lag prob.

try getting a price from jb hifi they have all the pioneer gear and wiring kits you might be surprised how much cheaper you can get it for compared to car audio stores. eg at the time the pioneer deh-p9450mp was 1700 i got it for 1300 and my tsc-160r pioneer splits where 490 i got them for 380 because i got all the gear at once from jb hifi. note i do not work for jb or am connected to them in any way.

to sound deaden a whole car of coarse it will cost more then $400. just to let you know my stinger rca's cost $55 each and multi amp wiring kit was $300

for the doors 150-200 if yo want to do the boot as well (if you want betteri n car sound quality) then i would do the bootas well so add about the same150-200. you may be able to get away with not doing the boot. but will depend on who does it.

thats a good head unit. yeh sound deadening would be advised as for install cost it depends on what you choose i would est. at $400-500 just for install + $150-200 or sound deadening but for a custom install like the one you showed it prob around 1300-1500 including deadening

i like pioneer gear but it does lack in some areas. i have used pioneer componets in all my cars. for you if you only want to use pioneer gear i would do one of these 2 1. (higher cost) head unit: DEH-P8650MP fronts: TS-C160R front amp: GM-5100T rears: TS-A1681S (run off head unit) sub:TS-W12PRS sub amp:GM-D510M 2. good sound better price head unit:DEH-P5750MP fronts: TS-C1625 amp: GM-6100F ( will run sub and fronts) rears:TS-A1681S (run off head unit) sub:TS-W306C just to put a spin on things in my 71 capri i use pioneer deh-p9450mp fronts are the pioneer TS-C160R front amp is a cadence Q3000 sub is a jl audio w3 sub amp kicker kx 400.1 the gtr has head unit:DEH-P5750MP fronts: kicker splits amp: jl audio e4300 sub: 2x jl audo w1 amp 2x jl audio 500.1 in my cars i dont find the need for rear speakersas they are set up correctly.

sounds poor as they say the first is always the best

if your running more then 1.1 bar on the stock rubber hoses it is a common thing for the hoses to blow off. the most effective way to fix it is with a hks piping kit or similiar kit

there are two clips that holds the bottom in you need to use a prie bar or large thick screw driver to lift it out it does requier a lot of force. the back rest part is held in by two screws cant miss them once you have the bottom section out.

sorry to hear. if justcar let you choose your repair go to sefton smash repairs they are the best body shop i have ever seen and there work is floorless and drago the owner is a good bloke looks after everyone.

it could be your air filters i had k&n m's when i got my gtr went like crap till about 4000rpm put a set of apexi's on it now you can fell it at 2500-2750rpm

i wouldnt mind a good cruise need more details first

just a quick question how can you tell the diffrence from the "hks style ssqv" from the real ssqv ??are ther any major diffrences??

fit the biggest odyssey battery you can fit. i currently have a yellow top in my '71 capri which has no computers etc in it just a sh*t load of stereo gear and it doesnt last 30 mins. the best i have found for large stereo are odyssey batteriers have one in my 32. top batteries. also upgrade the battery before worring about the cap.
