Hey guys, I've got two lots of wheels for sale. First up we've got a set of 19 X 8 inch Advanti Racing 5 spoke wheels. 2 have almost brand new (less than 500 kms on them ) Kaiser 235/35 ZR19's on them, the other two have N6000 245/35 ZR19's with about 40% of their tread left (see pics). They have minimal gutter rash and clean up really well - almost new. I think $800 ono would be fair enough. I'll even take part trade for a set of 17 X 8's. The offset is +38 and they've got tons of clearance. The other set are basically brand new 17 X 10 Rota's with Yokohama Advan's in 235/45 R17's . One of them is brand new (done maybe 20 kays of moving around) - the stud's haven't been worn down yet. The other 3 are in various condition but they certainly have a few track days left in them. I'll separate these if you just want the rims (or the rubber). $1100 for the lot (worth it just for the rubber) or $700 for the rubber and $500 for the rims. Not sure about the offset but its HUGE. All located on the North side of Brissy. Happy to ship but at your cost

Hey guys, I've had the pleasure of meeting a few of you guys at happy laps and the northern cruise last month. I've moved here recently to be closer to a couple of older relos and it occurred to me the other day there isn't any family photos of us. So I need a photographer for an hour or so to take some photos. We are not the best looking lot however are friendly and make great food, there is a good chance you'll even score some lunch. We don't really need prints or anything, just someone who has some sort of reasonable eye and camera to take some shots. Location would be around Wynnum somewhere with an attractive background. So, shoot me a pm if you can help a well fed group out. Oh I should add I realise this probably won't be free Cheers!

Hey Chris, Other than those minor things (which I didn't really notice) it was a really fun way to spend a day, and man were those lunches HUGE. I'll be attending again, maybe in the wedge next time. I know a few people took pics / videos on the day, any chance of some links or something??

I had an easy run home - some traffic but it was flowing really well.

See you all there

Hey all, I'm moving to Qld next week and look forward to meeting some of you guys. I drive a black R33 GTS-T, well I say black but its really got the most awful paint job ever on it. I enjoy sliding and the track and can't wait to live closer to a raceway to do it more.

I had a 5zigen system that I spat heaps of power through and passed EPA.

Everyday I'm just little bit more grateful I don't live near you.

Wtb: Lowmount Upgrade For An R33
oscar32 replied to oscar32's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
A highflow would certainly do the job - last time I checked though getting one made up brand new would blow my budget by a fair whack (around the 1500 mark plus turbo). I'm well aware of the short commings with a garret unit which is why I'd like something both in - I've got a huge dump pipe and supporting hardware I don't really want to change. But thanks for the concerns. Thus my add for a secondhand bolt in unit. Which I'm still chasing -
Hey guys, I've got money in my hand, and would like to buy a turbo to upgrade my RB25. I'm looking for something that a direct bolt in replacement, and internally gated. I'd prefer something that won't need a rebuild within 15 seconds of being placed in my car - so if you've got a hand grenade please save us both some time. Happy with a garret unit but would probably not be as happy with a second hand ebay unit. Budget is around 1k I probably don't need anything quite the size of a T88 or something. Just PM me or text on 0418 666 33two. Cheers!

I've got a dump pipe I just want to keep using - its way big enough. I'd prefer something that won't need a rebuild within 15 seconds of being placed in my car - so if you've got a hand grenade please save us both some time. Happy with a garret unit but would probably not be as happy with a second hand ebay unit. Budget is around 1k. I probably don't need anything quite the size of a T88 or something. Sorry to hear about this incident - it one of those things you hope doesn't happen, also sorry to hear your little blue car may be terminal . I hope you can fix it - I know what its like to loose a loved one. If the MX 5 is gone though, would that open room in your wifes heart for a skyline with a sunroof? I mean, I know its not a convertable but they certainly are cool. Maybe an S15 convertable, or even one of the S13's you see around. If it helps, I'll come over with my oxy and take the roof off any car you like

Hey Richard - I am over that way later next week. If it fits my car its mine.

I guess the biggest reason for me was to lock up the rear wheels, it makes going sideways a lot easier and some would argue it makes the car more predicatable. Many of the hicas systems are not working properly anymore (mine was working one day, not for the next two, then for an hour), so getting rid of it fixed my issue. I don't think hicas doesn't move as much as a honda AWD system, but for a general spirted driver I suppose it could offer some advantage.

Hi mate, Seems like you are new - welcome aboard. Have a look in the for sale section - there are heaps of cars there. I'd also suggest having a look around carsales. There is a thread in the FAQ section of the forum about what to look for in a line too. In your budget there would be a couple of models that suit - the R32 and the R33. Did you want a turbo or not turbo?

Hey mate, I bet you that noise is a snapped gear thats a part of the climate control system - behind the glovebox. There is a fix for it here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/301992-diy-fix-cluncking-noise-in-dash-r33s/ If you are going to get a part for it - get something new. They are all 12 + years old now, and if they havn't broken they are going to. Its never worried me enough to spend half a day pulling the dash out though
