The best thing you can do is find a Skyline thats been well cared for - look for evidence. Service records, condition, how clean the car is presented can all tell you a story about the owner. If you are buying privately, and get the chance have a look at where the car is kept. There isn't anything wrong with a few kays (as you said, they are 15+ years old now). My GTS-T has an indicated 158kms on it, and I'd suggest looking at the numbers THATS been wound back too. The thing is, I bought it off a mate (who is also from here). I know how he drives (like my nan), know the mods (very few) and know its been looked after and serviced. It still pulls hard, and has good even compression. I'm guessing you need a non turbo for licencing purposes? They enjoy a bit of a inflated market, and from what I've seen pretty good resales. There is a thread on buying them somewhere - find it and have a read. Good luck mate!

That really depends on what the suspension has had done to it (lowered springs, coilovers), and what type of kit the car has fitted. My car is reasonably low, and scraped everywhere when it had the Jun kit on it, however with the stock kit back in place I've not touched anything yet. Thee is a certain set of skill you require to drive a sports car though, which are lower than average. Welcome aboard

I can't believe you are selling this thing - its been around forever and I remember it setting a few records for stocky stuffs on the way. I also can't believe you can buy this much car with that sorta money. Best of luck.

Looking For Some Bolt Of Flares To Suit An R33
oscar32 replied to oscar32's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Yeah man - still here. I've had two 31's and the 33 since the 32. This one is going to be faster though I was sad to see you were selling yours - it was always really tidy that thing. The flares ended up not actually giving me any extra gaurd room, so its cutting, glassing and butchering for them - and then they will sit in primer till I can do something about it Photos once done (late next week I'd say).. Cheers!! -

Hey mate, I've got an RB20 GTS-T computer here if you'd like it, pm me Cheers!! -
Hey Sin, My 33 has the same issue - yellowed lights. Made worse by the fact the poor thing is currently living on the street - totally homeless. I've found meguiars all metal polish brings them up pretty well and easily, however it does convert back to its old ways pretty quickly. I've also heard of people using cut polish. I've not tried it but who knows Hope you are well mate!

Need A New Clutch?
oscar32 replied to R31Nismoid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hey guys, I ordered a full monty for my R33 GTS-T. Its awesome, been in for months and behaves like new. Jim talks a lot but at least he is worth listening to! Not the cheapest, the best. Get one. Don't think about it anymore. -
I am pretty sure that there would be MANY people who don't understand that a larger turbo at the same boost flows more air. I liked the coke bottle example

Hey guys, I'm cleaning up to move and need to get rid of some stuff. 4 Volk rims - all with legal rubber. They are 17 x 8 and 17 x 9 and currently have 235's and 245's on them (you'd be able to go wider on the rear for sure). They are in good condition and don't have much gutter rash. All center caps and stud covers are there. They come with spacers to make them fit a skyline (they are the proper bolt in ones). I replaced them with some rota's so these have to go. Super light. $550 ono. Jun style bodykit. It probably need some work - but it was on the car when I bought it (I've changed it back to stock). The skirts have some scratches underneath and a small piece of filler missing but they'd be an easy fix if its your thing. The rear pods are excellent and the front bar - well I was going to use it as a track bar thus the lovely cable tie stitching. Without the front bar: $100 ono With the bar $150 ono R33 GTS-T Diff in good condition. This was pulled from my car last night and replaced with a nismo unit, it still locks up fine and doesn't make any noises it shouldn't. Its got about 150k on it, but most of them were by my mate who drives like my dead grandmother. We pulled the rear cover off for a look and I would of put it back in. $300 ono. Stock R32 GTS-T computer - $100 ono A'Pexi SAFCII. Brand new in box and never been used. To suit S1 R33 RB25DET Skyline. $200 ono. R33 S1 Ignitor - known working unit - $70 Either PM or give me a call on 0418 666 332.

Best of luck qld'ers... I've got a godson (and his family I guess) living in townsville, in the surge zone. The baby is on high ground but my mate - for some stupid reason, stayed. I'd be gone.
