TWENTY DOLLARS On their wedding night, the young bride approached Her new husband and asked for $20.00 for their first Lovemaking encounter. In his highly aroused state, Her husband readily agreed. This scenario was repeated each time they Made love, for more than 30 years, With him thinking that it was a Cute way for her to afford new clothes And other incidentals that she needed. Arriving home around noon one day, she was Surprised to find her husband in a very drunken state. During the next few minutes, he explained that His employer was going through a process of corporate Downsizing, and he had been let go. It was Unlikely that, at the age of 59, he'd be able to find Another position that paid anywhere near what he'd been Earning, and therefore, they were financially ruined. Calmly, his wife handed him a bank book which Showed more than thirty years of steady deposits And interest totalling nearly $1 million. Then she Showed him certificates of deposits issued by the bank Which were worth over $2 million, and informed him that they Were one of the largest depositors in the bank. She explained that for the more than three decades She had 'charged' him for sex, these holdings had Multiplied and these were the Results of her savings and investments. Faced with evidence of cash and investments Worth over $3 million, her husband was so astounded he could Barely speak, but finally he found his voice and blurted out, 'If I'd had any idea what you were doing, I would have given you all my business!'

Sorry guys things have been a bit slow of late. Here is one for the girls A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine. 'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la casa.' 'Pencil,' however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.' A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?' Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether computer' should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation. The men's group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the feminine gender ('la computadora'), because: 1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic; 2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else; 3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval; and 4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it. (THIS GETS BETTER!) The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine ('el computador'), because: 1 In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on; 2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves; 3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and 4 As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model. The women won.
