i dont trust any workshop with my car no matter how recognised they are, refer to the dude who's s15 got written off when he went in for a service. they also charge an arm and a leg to tune your ecu which takes maybe an hr. pfft

chris, thats exactly the sort of reply that I would like to hear. As i dont want to be in the dark once the import does actually arrive here, if you know what i mean. In regards to rob's answer, i also agree that you get what you pay for and thus am concerned with the prices that some importers are able to offer - makes you wonder how come the prices are that low but neverless tempted to buy it. I compare because as a consumer/potential customer its in my nature. having said this price is a major factor but after sales service, technical support etc etc basically the same service you would expect to receive after purchase of a good/service must not be forgotten. btw where did faz toyz go, wouldnt want to be a customer of them if i was importing a car and they suddenly closed down like that. regards, dooky.

chris, this is an unbiased view so please dont take it personal but ive looked at the vehicles avaliable on your site and compared those to vehicles avalible to import from prestige motorsports and there seems to be quite alot of differences in the asking price. Now this may be b/c your does not need bidding etc ect but ultimately my question is why so expensive when i can buy private or through a dealer. curious. btw i am thinking of importing a vehicle but am keeping my options open thus my query.

i just want a sub right now, 10, 12, 15" i dont care. Need one to complete my system. besides, passengers are complaining that they cant hear music from the back seat.

I think they would look nice on the back since most people would see are rears anyway - you know what i mean, besides its not written backwards so being on the front would have no purpose. To distinguish us from other - if the sticker isnt obvious enough, maybe we should align somewhere besides the top centre to be different.

In response to the staff's attitude at redline, i think it depends - they obviously judge you as soon as you enter their car yard from the car you step out of to the clothes that you wear, just my observation. To me when I went there they were cool and helpful same goes with turismo, Dave at redline was laid back to me and didnt hesitate when i wanted to test drive some of his cars - supra TT and a some turbo skylines. But yeah, some times when you go to a car yard the owner has PMS other times well I guess its bad luck you rocked up at that time of the month.

on that note, now i know why these dealers [north east road ones] sells imports at the price they so, due to modds. btw has anyone seen the black gt t 34, i think it is, at motorcity. nice goes for there blue flared gtr rear gtst skyline.

i dont know much about dyno curves so correct me if im wrong but does it indicate that only upping the boost i.e through bleed valve, on a stock car gives better performance that if a turbo back exhaust with 11 psi was applied. Reason being i say this is because red line - stock, seems to be more curver and higher and balck line - modded.

a while ago when i was skyline hunting, i saw what appeared to be a white r33 tommy kaira at redline motorsports - was asking something like 30k, but it wasnt my taste i.e bodykit. But if i had known its potential over gtst dammnn i would have bought it. btw it looked nice, Tommy kiara written all over it - interior and exterior, as someone mentioned.

if the car is totally stock - including the exhaust and airbox, can you still increase the boost i.e 10 psi on a ceramic turbo - i have a 97 model, without any problems. Is it worthwile doing this or should i be getting an exhaust first. thanks.
