  1. Arh stock IS less than 4kg Not everyone wants their car that low it scrapes on the ground, and if you think a "drift" setup is a good handling car, you have a lot to learn Every mod you are doing to your suspension is to make the your car be unsettled as much as possible to get it to drift in a controlled manner. Not every ones wants thier car to be uncomfortable ie 16/18kg springs and 215 tyres on 9/10 inch rims and have it slide around every corner. So next time you post a reply, consider what the actual person wants and what thier needs are.
  2. That is not entirely true I have a set a tein "coilovers" esp made for the Stagea. They are the "wagon" model, not the heavier HA models. They come with 4kg front and rear springs, which are a long way from 10/12 or even 8/10's The 4kg springs are approx 25% heavier than the factory spring, which is similar to what SK uses in his kits I had 8/10 in my R33 and it was a pain in the arse and not traction I changed back to 5/7 and it was alot better.
  3. Last weekend I drove my sister inlaws Audi quatro wagon (the little one A4?) with the 4.2 ltr V8 I was very impressed with the performance
  4. Front end parts only $4.5k plus paint and labour Manual conversion with R33 GTR box $3K plus labour, could be done cheaper with R32 box
  5. I look after it for you in Brisbane Ken. . . . I think start at $40-45K and drop from there Example A mate of mine just sold a 500hp series 1 R33 GTR Current prices are $25-35K, he sold his for close to $60K. Just need the right buyer to come along and depends how quick you need to sell. If the timing was right I would have been interested. But you would need to fit a R34 front first
  6. Have you read the suspension thread It is a sticky at top http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=53079 Bascially for a 4wd Stagea the front are 33GTR and the rears are R33GTST on auto stagea's and the manual stagea has different rears again with a fork at the bottom of the strut As the Stagea is heavier than a GTST in the rear, you will need springs rates too suit. Best get Stagea specific coilovers and springs
  7. I was recently looking for the same thing, but bought a apexi turbo instead I found 2 for sale Nisswreck (site sponsor) has a s/hand one for $1200 condition unknown? UAS has a R34 new one. I had it offered to me for $1750 delivered which includes the R34 turbo in the price, which makes it good value as you can sell your old turbo and R34 turbo's are hard to find even broken ones.
  8. Hey Hugh Did you find any rust under the mirror? When I removed mine to give them to you, I found a nice big hole under the left mirror, but it could not be seen when the mirror was fitted.
  9. No I have not touched the car for a month I have been building a 3 1/2 car garage extension to the front house, which take up all my time. I only have 2 hands and I am not a builder. The roof is half on now, so in a week or 2 I will have the roof finished so I can have some where to work on the car at night under lights durung the week. I removed the factory door mirrors a week ago and fitted Ganador mirrors and found more rust hidden under the mirrors You could not see any rust when the mirrors were fitted, but once removed I found a big hole. I am dying to see it painted too, it has only been 18 months since I started this project. Ps I picked up a nice Apexi 420PS BB turbo the other day for it
  10. I asked a similar question in the other manual checklist thread /www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=65422&view=findpost&p=2152863 So for example, all 5spd manual boxes are 1:1 ratio in 4th. The transfer case on the back of the auto and manual gearbox is also 1:1. The gear ratio's in the gearbox are irrelavant. So the final ratio's are not changed from a auto to manual conversion Does that make sense?
  11. I believe series 2 and series 3 GTR wheels vary a bit for the airbag connections If you run into problems when you come to fit it, PM Ferni as he had some issues with the one I sold him and he managed to work out the problems
  12. If Beastien is worried about using 9 inch rims to stay legal, the last thing he wants is spacers! Try this calculator, you can work out from your current wheels width and offset to how the new wheels will sit http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
  13. Still for sale Pm me if interested Thanks
  14. Paul who owns Performance wise, also a site sponsor and Stagea owner, sells these on ebay for $80 pair or you could contact him thru SAU http://stores.ebay.com.au/PERFORMANCE-WISE Note he does not have a current listing at the moment. Also he had a group buy a while back for $70 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;hl=indicators A quick search found this thread
  15. I think you would find a alloy bonnet to be very similar in weight to a f/g carbon bonnet compared to a dry carbon bonnet I was just after a different look.
  16. If you can find your paint code which should be on the ID plate on the fire wall, take it to somewhere like Autobarn and they can mix it up and put it into a spray pack can It will not be 2 pak like your car and you will need to put clear over it aswell.
  17. I think freight from Brisbane to Perth would be approx $150? unless you have a freight account with someone I would let it go for $200 plus freight it is the only one in Oz that I have seen, plus it it is genuine I just bought a new turbo and need some funds.
  18. You could use the series 1 nismo skirts, rear bar and wing. Then buy my Ms factory series 2 front bar $250.
  19. Average price for a R34 GTR carbon bonnet approx $900-1200 This new one sold for less than $470 on ebay. Was old stock and shop wanted to get rid of it. It was going to cost me approx $150 freight plus the chance of it getting damaged, so I did not bid too high on it Plus I already have a genuine alloy 34GTR bonnet on my Stagea
  20. I was bidding on the same bonnet you bought, but with frieght to Brissy it became too much
  21. Page 7 post 139 96911-0V800 Body-Console 96920-0V800 Lid-Console Box 68430-0V800 Holder Assy-Cup 96935-0V800 Boot-Console 96965-AA001 Holder Assy-Cup I checked my console and it has the same number
  22. The part numbers are in the manual gearbox thread Prank started
  23. Not sure if it will fit R34 GTR $60 bargin http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=162952
