  10. Looks like a pretty similar job to the one I had to do on my R33 Will have to remove the steering wheel aswell to get the dash out. Will need a T50 tool to remove airbag from steering wheel, I have one if needed. Will need to remove passenger airbag aswell There is always some hidden bolts in behind vents etc. Most modern cars are built all very similar. Should be about a 4-5 hour job all up and a few beers

  14. Nice car, well done The mirrors are actually made by Ganador, not a factory option They are a little bit smaller in the mirror size, but are still electric. I had a set on my R33 and have just bought a set for my Stagea.
  15. Best thing is to drop into a windscreen shop and see what they have Most the strips just come on a roll and cost about $5/m Much better than $600-700 for new ones, by the time you buy the inner and outer Attached is a pic of my old R33 You can zoom in on the front screen to what they look like They do look different, but not out of place. Only thing wrong with them, after about 18-24 months of being in the sun, they were showing some signs of sun damage. But at roughly$30-40 you could replace them.
  16. Where do you get the bush from New from Nissan?
  17. The steering wheel is on a tapered spline You should use a puller to remove it If not, sit in the drivers seat, put the nut back on but leave it loose so that it sits higher then the steering shaft to prevent any damage. Now you need to hit the nut while putting load on the steering wheel and it should pop off. Use a peice of wood end on to hit the nut to prevent any damage to the nut or steering shaft. Just try to hit it with a quick sharp hit, but too hard.
  18. Exactly what he said.
  19. Will need to remove front bar and grille The high beam headlights (the ones in the front grille S2) are mounted to the low beam head light, so removing the front bar you can get access There is 3 nuts (10mm) at the rear of each head light, on the back side of the radiator support panel that need removing aswell You may have to remove some things in the engine bay, like battery and airbox to get to 1 off the nuts. The other 2 are down the side of the radiator and should be able to get access.

  24. As long as it is hicas compatiable it should be right If your car is a 1995 series 1 with airbag, you will need a different boss kit. Approx $200-250
  25. When I repainted my R33 I had to get a new windscreen as well The windscreen company used a mould similar to a my VX commadore and replaced the rear aswell Cost about $30 for each.
