DR Drift (son of rajab of re-tuning stock ecu's) is making a trip up to Nerang in the very near future.. Check the QLD section. Rising rate regulator and a big in tank pump... Plus the cat and inake and you should be set for some decent figures, with the re-tune of course. If your smart you could have all this done for a little over $1000

Makes sense in every way... If you do some more research on the 1J you will find it is quite a bit stronger than an RB25... Teflon coasted pistons standard. Much better oil control. Cheapest way to get big power (easy 270+ rwkw) would be a 2nd hand jap turbo kit.

Buy a DR Drift boost controller.. Boost will come on earlier and gives you the option of changing boost level much easier... Modifying the actuator is an oldschool mod for when boost controllers were too expensive.

I doubt the RB would fit without firewall modification... Sr20's are a fairly common swap. Would like to make it period 80's stylin.. And have it set up for motorkana's and hill climbs.. Plus some light drift work

I detached each coil plug from each spark plug (seperatly).. It ran roughly for 2-3 seconds (with each coil) then I geuss the ecu took over and noticed it was minus a cylinder and it reverted back to what seemed the same idle I started with. P.S. I've done a pre-voc course in automotive engineering.. So I'm not completely automobile illiterate
