  2. Hey guys, Looking at importing some new coilovers for the Laurel and have pretty much narrowed it down to JIC, CST and Buddy Club. Interested in anyones experiences with these brands with quality, performance etc. Also if anyone has any idea on differences in the models of the above mentioned brands as the google translator isn't much help Will be 8kg fronts and 6kg rears as it's my daily..   3. You may want to figure if the VG30 turbo you have is the steel wheeled version. As you should be able to run 18+psi fairly reliably. And with other sensible mods Such as a Good quality split front/dump, Quality cat (a metal one), GT-R injectors, Regulator and PFC or remap there is no reason why you can't comfortably surpass the 200rwkw figure. Oh and finding a PFC for a 32 can be difficult. "AP Engineering" make em.. don't know why. This is why so many 32 owners opt for the remap instead. Wich can net very healthy results if performed correctly. Good luck anyway

  10. I know a few guys running 3 inch no mufflers on their daily RB20's... So you can get away with it. Just for how long is the question. Would also depend what front?dump and cat ur running. Just get a good quality cannon and replace it . If ur wanting a new exhaust I reckon Fujitsubo power getter.. The rear mufflers look sic

  13. I wouldn't pay over $250.. Have seen one at $170 a couple of weeks ago and one fro $220 a week before that..(In SAU classifieds) If it's for a 32 it makes more sense to pay $250-$350 for an ARC replacement as the 34 unit srequire modding
  14. If you have a look at the inlet of the lid you will see what I mean. Nissan put so much effort into the flow path design of the snorkel and then screw it up at the end with his lump of foam! I'm thinking rip it out and maybe pop rivet a thin piece of angled stainless in their nice and snug.. Or just remove.. and leave What does this POS do!... As soon as I get a definative answer its gooone.. Opinions pls..?

So this makes Reece the driver of the second quickest GT-R in the world? Only behind HKS... That is astounding
  16. Started servicing today.. What purpose does the foam and grate on the underside of the lid for the airbox serve? Can it be removed? I'll prob replace the crappy paper filter that was in there with an Apex panel.. So the better flow passage the better. Cheers.

Cost $150 from MCS. -$75 Also Quality Beva 1.2 cf sub box with bevelled edges(gives better response or sum shit) Grey carpeted. Excell cond. Used 3 months.   18. Nah stock rb20det only run about 6-7 psi I'm pretty sure. Have read somewhere that its either all rb20det auto's or all rb20det Ceffy/Laurels are de-tuned by 0.5 psi. The gains you have will be coming from a full 3 inch exhasut and aftermarket filter. Gavin yeah I know 2 Ceffy owners well too.. One's just had the running gear replaced from a wrecked r32.. and the other is just insane Probably the most modified Ceff in Aus. Also know a guy with a Laurel running a VQ30 with to4 that he's currently setting up for drift.. Hope you get it home with no hickups Keen on seeing the pics too

  20. I thought rb25 turbo only came in ceramic wheel form? Make sure you get the outlet elbow. Where ye hale from?
  21. Speed was the goods Buy every issue of DB and HPI front Newsagent. Have always been quality.. Offload the free ones to mates. Also ZOOM is good.. especially for tech Used to get fast fours till I realized it was full of shit Autosalon is also a waste of tree's

  24. Agree with top 1,3,4,5 .. no need for bov. Stocker is fine. Just sit with ur car for a few mins after a hammering instead of turbo timer. If it's heading for dori suspension is ur main concern. You will need rear camber arms. Coilovers should come with front camber adjustment. Castor arms are a very good idea too. Alloy Cradle bushes a must for the price. Also get it up on a hoist too check the condition of all the bushes and replace (in pairs) any that are rooted. I would suggest a mechanical diff is more important than a front mount tho. At least a re-shim on the standard diff if you are bored with power and really want one a front mount. Also "turbotech" boost controller and aftermarket metal cat if ur looking for cheap power upgrades. (if you don't have them already) Cheers, Jarryd
