  1. yes, that I understand.( however, i get DHL from japan in days.) what I do not understand is ghosting customers who ask after an order that their own system says they have, and should have been delivered 10 days ago

  3. so I Put a few orders in for Amayama and they all show green "ordered from supplier" or "sent from supplier" The earliest August one was listed as expected delivery 13th Sep by "Fastway Couriers" (it was listed as delivered to warehouse by 12th sep). so naturally, I'd like to know the status.. - they do not reply to online messages despite the interface for logged in customers. - they do not pick up the phone it just rings to voice mail or gets cut off At this point wondering if I just turn up at 24 Norman St, Peakhurst, Sydney, with print out in hand, will they all run and hide behind the shipping supplies?
  4. My bad the VIN number was wrong I think. The 6th digit was a "V" .. if it was v-spec it should be a "W" (?) here is the link: https://m.facebook.com/marketplace/item/204764720854520/
  5. Saw an ad for a clean looking "v-spec" in Thailand on Facebook. $192k USD (in Thai Baht). They threw the nismo catalog at it, so it has the new ti strut bar, the carbon bits, most of the obvious nismo engine bits, etc etc. It has also had a supposed factory "custom paint color". Certainly looked nice. Only one problem, the vin plaque was blue... It was just a normal GTR, not a v-spec. Whoops.
  6. I have a few MFD screens on hand, have the oem part numbers (match what the car was built with) or new replacement models (plug compatible, may have longer life) for $300 per, money back if it does not solve your problem, postage included specify which you want. you can hunt on alibaba for less however it is pot luck and shipping from china is really really slow at the moment plus if it doesnt work, you are out of luck.
  7. stealth catch can, I cant remember what place fabricated it or the original price so will just say .. $200 thanks edit: it might be an early hi-octane one? same idea anyway https://www.hioctanedirect.com/hi-octane-racing-oil-catch-can-nissan-skyline-r32~7369
  8. Summary so far Stop tech bolt on kit - $4000 - $3800 Carbon risers - $750 Greddy FMIC - Sold Ganador LED mirrors - $4000 - $3800 Engine Cover - $750 Front Splitter - $650 ARC Strut Tower - $2500
  9. ARC titanium strut brace - 1.2kg - fits R34 and R33 out-of-print product that is difficult to obtain - they hold their value or go up. This one is pretty close to perfect condition.. $2500 firm
  10. Splitter continued,. Here is the wear. Only one bit is plausibly visible when on the car. PS: I treated the twelve metal fasteners for rust. (wait for pics)
  11. OEM Front splitter .75890-AA410 This was my "backup" front splitter for taking abuse but after cleaning it up honestly it is pretty good. Good if someone wants a wear and tear front splitter to keep their mint one... mint. There are scratches and some tears (see pics in next post) but visually it is not bad at all. $650 pickup prefer ($1000 is typical cost new local stock now) (wait for pics)
  12. The American thirst is real for sure. What happens to prices when everyone "waiting for the Americans", or Americans "holding multiple cars in storage" decide to cash in.
  13. I dont really think it is only fast furious paul walker. For me it was gran turismo, then seeing r32s race at bathurst etc. That, plus the mean japan era look that for various reasons will never be reproduced in modern car design language. what does it say when a 22 year old car design looks meaner most of anything contemporary, short of some supercars ? while prices are silly and something odd and speculative is going on, long term good examples will remain highly collectible along with NSX, certain early Datsuns and toyotas.
  14. I've ordered a pair. While mine had clouding at the top I could remove, it also has those micro cracks you can see in the sun. My concern is a single bad review left at one of the sites like rhdjapan I think, that complained they did not fit well (did not seal well). On the other hand they have been popular in Japan, allegedly. So perhaps the review is bogus or perhaps it was an earlier revision. The other option is to buy second hand units without the ballasts but those seem to be price high and of course you can't be sure the ones you're buying are not on the way to the same issue. You can also buy new without ballast. Or buy new complete at even more $$$s!
  15. I wonder if it is just Americans - yet. There are clearly enough deep pockets in Europe and Middle East, and in Thailand and Malaysia, and wealthy Chinese kids in the big overseas student cities to explain much of the bubble to date. Obviously there are also speculators and hoarders. Being an R34 enthusiast in Japan must suck to some extent as all the good examples are sucked right out of the country.
  16. Only 34 r34s listed in some Japanese car sale website. Fans over there compare notes. “is it a house mortgage?”
  17. The ones stuck on with double-sided tape. There are four on the engine cover panel and two on the front splitter. Anyone replaced any missing ones? What did you do?
  18. ok thanks its hard to know whether the difference matters if one doesn't know what the difference is because nismo does not detail it.
  19. ADDED R34 engine under-tray 75880-AA410 - in pretty good shape. $750 One washer needs fixing, one small 5c sized hole that should be invisible when installed. Some minor scratches. Two pieces of foam missing.
  20. Since this topic, prices have gone bonkers squared. The pretty average Nur going for 26.2m yen. wtaf
  21. I guess I am wondering, since Öhlins DVF has been available for some time for R34, what the "Clubman race spec" fluff is all about wrt. the suspension. Do you get a little Nismo sticker, is that the extent of things. Is buying the "new S-tunes" different in any way to buying DVF?
  22. So I was looking at Japanese news ( https://www.webcartop.jp/2020/03/510455/ ) earlier in the year and they heralded the "return of S-Tune" suspension, and included a picture and some hype text: "Suspensions for circuit driving have existed so far, but in recent years they have disappeared from the lineup. The product that was commercialized this time is based on OHLINS, which has a proven track record in motor sports, and has been tuned by NISMO. Not only the performance when driving on the circuit, but also when driving in the city on a round trip from home, the setting has high steering stability." The GTR Registry has also documented the R2 Clubman spec, and took some pictures of all the Clubman changes presumably from the Omori site. So it looks like someone photoshopped "Nismo" onto the stock Öhlins coilovers - do I have that right?
  23. Ganador LED carbon look super mirrors R34 Coup only - not quite new and unused, but very close. - $4000 Don't laugh at the price, these go for silly money in Japan and very rarely appear. See this pair for NSX, for example: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e450775902 or for R34: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d330447463 Can send internationally FOR FREE.
