  1. i want my lanyard too!
  2. no point buying a car you dont like the look of though
  3. i was waiting for someone to offer their line
  4. i just put the 104's on early this week too.. 255/40R17 235/45R17 $860 fitted.... they grip ohh so good... im struggling to spin them, launching hard, launching around corners... 260rwhp and the buggers wont budge! highly reccomended.
  5. woo, got it today! how many kilowatts does the SAU sticker give my car?
  6. using 2 channels of your 4 channel amp is bridged and invert mounting the sub wont do much difference, ive experimented it with both my pioneer 305c, and jl 12w0, and they both sound pretty much the same.. coz you have an enclosed space on one side of the sub in both cases still.
  7. i get ~320-350 off of 60L, but mine runs quite rich... might try that O2 sensor fix, see if that helps.
  8. would that include mine? only did it early last week.
  9. haha... you wont be disappointed. just got some new rubber for my car today... new clutch and new tyres, it handles so god damn nice now!
  10. ahhh.. why did i not expect this.... had you bothered to read the entire post you will find out that the officer who issued the sticker to me actually extended it, upon my dad informing him im not part of the street racing/dragging car clubs that are around that area. are you just jealous, or really a dickhead?
  11. i didn't stall it!!!! god damn this clutch is nice... nice and smooth when you want it to be, or let it out a bit quicker (i accidently did after driving home from hyperdrive) and it grabs... oh it grabs. im with you strich9, best $1000 ive spent on the car.
  12. no, ive been chasing a new set for a week or 2(thread on the forums somewhere), but it became quite urgent when my yellow sticker expired 1 hour after i got it on saturday night, and i *had* to have a car on sunday, and none of my family live in perth to borrow me one... also the tyres have only just recently got to the illegal point... they were quite low on tread, but borderline legal before.
  13. i was driving on bald tyres because my new tyres hadnt come in yet, and i was after a set of tyres to last me until my new tyres are fitted (tomorrow), or so i could pass the yellow sticker, seeing as it expired 1 hour after i got it, and i needed my car on the sunday, and today. and as i said, i didnt know my dad was their senior officer.... theres that many police in perth i don't know who my dad has authority over, i didnt even think he worked in the area. and if i want to be taken seriously... why would i want to take a yellow sticker as a joke, i know my tyres were dangerous.
  14. its not diagonal anymore... i got a new one for the extention, and dad put it on perfectly straight
  15. turns out the officer that pulled me over.... my dad is his senior officer and i got the extention because dad has basically pointed out im not part of these street racing/police chases they have had around that area, so they were a bit more generous, but the tyres are getting done tomorrow, so its all good.
  16. ah cool... ive got ~500km to bed it in and get used to it anyway
  17. how about i assume your an idiot? i was the only one in the car, and was driving in a legal manner. the officer stated he pulled me over simply because they have had problems with import's street racing and causing police chases in that area, guess your assumption was right, huh? the sticker was put on before i asked for the name and number aswell, i simply asked for thier details as it was blocked by their vests, and it was the second officer i was talking to about wether getting rims for a friends house is considered a 'place of repair' thus his name/number wasn't on the sticker, but i assume you knew that too? oh and an update for those who aren't ignorant, sticker got extended today... so that gives me a bit more time to get my new tyres... and i didnt give them any cheek either Boostzor, can give you 3 officers names and numbers if you care to check up on that, but then again you assume i was so that must be right.. right? docile - yeah it was one of the new VZ SV6 highway patrol cars.
  18. thats what i thought when i got home paul... they carry on about other things obscuring vision... then they whack it half way down the left hand side of the rear vision mirror.. and i *am* getting new tyres, but my car is booked in for next friday at the earliest... thats the thing... i told them that 5 times... they really were a pair of wankers, they also wouldn't give me their names or badge numbers which is illegal.. however its written on the yellow stick, but im going to complain about that.
  19. after recent clutch problems... i got a sticker tonight, its a lovely shade of yellow, and stuck on diagonally in the middle of the window... it was for bald tyres... so basically im chasing a set of rims with a legal amount of tread on them to get me over the pits... and im guessing im going to need to change my bov aswell? its a turbosmart non-plumb back one... so yeah, if anyone can help me with the above items, and could mention some other things i should check before attempting to pass the pits aswell, that would be great.. also what would be the 'easiest' pits to pass over, and get permits from? aaaaandddd.. whats the best way to rectify the way my sticker is positioned, i beleive diagonal mounting informs the pits to rape you...
  20. lol probably... stalled it twice when i first bought the car... went from the extremely worn in clutch in my old car to a stiff as hell twin plate...
  21. just went and had a look at the clutch, mmm purple Strich9 - im used to a quite stiff twin plate, and then a pretty much on/off single plate in my mates wrx, so getting used to this new one shouldnt cause too much of an issue...hopefully.
  22. taynewguy - mine goes in monday, will let you know then
  23. it may not be an improvment, but im better off with a single plate... my car only has 200rwkW, doesnt *need* a twin plate, not to mention i work in ossy park, start/stop traffic is an absolute bitch with my current twin plate... then there is another thing called money... $2700 for a new twin plate installed, ~$1500+ for rebuild, or ~$900 for a lovely new smooth single plate clutch.
  24. i want mine now payment probably hasnt gone thru yet...
