  17. cool. thanks for the help dude btw how long do you leave your car to warm up in the morning? im down in melb and its freezing cold ..normally will leave it for 8 - 10 mins.
  18. look in the passenger side near the door below the glove compartment, there is a screw holding the panel. unscrew it and flick the panel out, it should be held down by two clips, takes abit of force but you will not break it. Thats where the ECU is. This is a timely process... I would just go to the boot of my car, undo just the 'red' cable connecting to the battery leave it out for 5 minutes and step on the brakes a few times , plug it back in and it will all be reset. Oh dont forget to disable your alarm when doing so You will need to adjust your clock and tune your radio stations back it after the process. Not sure with other peoples experience with resetting the ECU, car runs smoother and feels more power.. don't know might be a mental thing.. hope it helps.
  19. Robo's experienced with this try search for safc
  20. but heaps of smokes not alittle heapss.
  21. This happened exactly same as me! filled the coolant bottle and next thing i noticed all gone! no leaks whatsoever. I even checked the radiator its all full. My car do smoke though during warmup but not normal operating temp.. is this normal?
  22. i use cut and polish.. works great! just dont leave it for too long otherwise it will eat away the plastic
  23. Not sure with other states, but in Victoria if you get busted with a RD, its $1100 fine and 3 points deducted. No they do not confiscate your car nor will you loose your license. that is if the adminstrator/moderator will cooperate with the cops. and even if the coppas got your IP address they then have to go through and ask for your info from your ISP. Your ISP will NOT give out your personal details as it will be against the privacy act and what if your ISP go through a proxy server? even harder to trace you! lol . I doubt they go through all the hassles just to bust someone here with a RD when there are more serious crimes happening across australia lol. Not sure what kind of RD you are referring to but MOST NEW RD has a 360 degree detection so it doesnt matter where you mount it.
  24. my version hehehee ____ T_|___ __ |_________ O O seee... look how artistic i am! , mine is better :)
  25. Thats soo weird JimX. Anyway i rewired the throttle wire once again , resetted my ECU, hooked the trottle position wire back in place and now in Dec. - Air -- Thrl NE1: 5% and NE2: 5%??? so the values have changed from 10% in NE1 & NE2 down to 5% and all i did was rewiring it. kinda weird.. anyone experience this?
