If you get something like the hks kit youwould get the whole lot to convert right down to bolts and nuts and hoseclaps, what wereyou lokkingat the kit or just the turbo? al tho the turbo should be a direct replacement but i carn remember if they use braided oil and waterlines or keepstock ones. But a 2530 is not reallyany bigger than stock a 2540 would be a nice alternative ,what sort of power are you chassing. Cheers:)
  2. Ohh ok well sounds good any idea what the main differences are would it be in regards to fitment and would it be as big of a task as say fitting a 040 or something like that.
  3. Hey guys i am wondering willthe r34 gtr vspec pump fit r33 s2 ,and if there is any mods,i belive 33gtr is the same , i have the pump it self offered to me and any idea on flow rates. any info would be muchly appricated. Thnak you all
  4. Yeah you are correct ,i ment in regards to cool down and heat up. of couse you need a steady temp to have good exhaust flow and to scavange as well,i was up to late last night lol
  5. it is still2.5 inch for stockbut you have ecv and also higher flowing muffler on the nismo exhaust, and you carnt really adapt it to any other exhaust ,apexi to make a ecv but is not cheap and does not drop by many db,s and i think the epa would test with it wide open anyway so not really any point with having it, just make sure if you get an aftermarket system that you get one with a middle muffler as opposed to say a blitz that is just a hot dog, and you shouldbe safe with that.

  7. is weird depending on the matieral and also the tension you can gt some pretty funky sounds from belts, the power enterprise in kevlar mix and is noisey as hel but still very cool.
  8. deffinatly go power fc ,depending if you are not going crazy changing to big turbo and injectors you could also go for a safc 2 or neo , but is really dependant on what you power goal is and what you want to do with the car. cheers
  9. anything that is jasma approved will be under 96db in most cases so like the trust pe2 and i think the hks silent power as well. anthing with a middle muffler will be probly what your after.
  10. i think they would be really good considering they are only 4.6kg spring rates ,so should give good ride, have looked at thease my self and are not too pricey either.
  11. I have seen the Bee* R ones and was wondering what we think of thease as they are a reputible tuning company in japan and do make quality stuff. thx

For memorie it is only 2.5 inch so a 3inch will still be a gain and the rear muffler is still a bit of a restriction so yeah a , highter flowing cat back will make a differance and frontand dump in one plus a 3inc cat will make quite a substancial difference. and will be stainless if you choose as opposed to mild steel so it will have better heat dispersion properties. hope this helps

  14. You would be supprised inthe increse in low spool now and i have stainless one and from under the car you can hear it pulsing in the pipe ,so it wount be a leak and you would definatly hear in the bay. so all is good , just check them in a week o so as they man need to be retorqued.

  19. ok stock base timming is 15degress BTDC and are you running some sort of 98ron fuel, that will make ping otherwise, inregards to stock etc , you can reset it to make it relear its maping but you carnt program it what other mods are done to the car?boost etc Cheers

  22. ok depending on what kit you have it will vary difficulty wise but yeah a good set of screw drivers ,grinder and a few cutting discs you will need to make a hole about 2.75icnh above the rail ,not that hard but but if you have a turn flow cooler you wount need to worrie about that. but yeah look its pretty easy once you lay it all out . mount the cooler first and the try a pipe fron the turbo side and make sure it fits ok ,if not just keep adjusting it untill such time, oohh and you need a tap mesure 4 sure , i would allow 2 days to do it and modifing you bar etc. horn go up on the bonnet catch , just small bit of customissing to be done, but look just take you time and make sure you have some one there to help as it is hard trying to hold 3 things at once... good luch with the install. if you get lost there is many pics of 32 and 33 which are really the same to install on here with then done ,just search 4 em

GROUP BUY IN ASSORTED ANODISED COLOURS External gates sound tough ,but for street not really a great idea, the fine is like 10k or something like that. but you may never get caught but yas know how it is and i guess just not worth all the hastle on a stocker, i thought about it at one stage but yeah ,had to be realistic. But on the same note i have also read the having you pipe plum back in would create more scavangning and would actually increse exhaust flow speed in plumed correctly.   24. not sure if its a factory thing i thouhgt that only a certain year onwards had then but is quite possibly be and option in s1's. and was in all series 2 not too sure but but in saying that my abs looks different to yours ,but mine is 97 so there could be change somewhere along the line
  25. ok the air box should pass without snorkal, and ebc greens are better for street not too sure about you seat tho , carnt really see it being too much of an issur i guess as long as on seat is reclinable . i guess put it all back to stockish and see how you go then. GOOD LUCK
