Man just gets better - it IS yellow - what u waiting for MrGTST  Oh hang on - then there'll be ANOTHER yellow one in Perth besides mine - nah - dont buy it
-
Yeah - Im a yellow and black fan as well... but jeez if that $25 grand one is in good nic then a paint job will still see you way under the prices Ive seen them coming in to Aus for!
-
Manual, Neo, leather... $25,000.... oh my god if only it was around 2 months ago! Wondering where the catch is... mileage maybe...??? Sounds good - anyone thats been umming and ahhing - theres your buy right there!
-
a long shot - but dont suppose you have the actual a spare actual little hook on the right hand side rear pillar that the horizontal cargo cover hooks onto?? Mine is snapped so can only attach one side Anyone? Also a front cup holder tray?? Bloody stereo install guys snapped it when fitting audio gear
-
Gawd Gary - sorry to hear that.... third gear start lol - thats like having an UltraSnow button ... but are you saying the Series 2 tiptronic auto box is always type B, or could be either A or B... and how the hell do I tell before I go playing around with it?? Cheers

Power button- snow button... What does what ??
Brazen replied to emanuelt's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
those 4 positions, plus dont forget the inner dial on the headlight stick which switches on the nifty yellow foglights ... which nicely matches my car colour haha Hey SK or anyone else re the 4wd ratio (if it is that) button - heres another Question - when I push that button in - on the dash a little symbol the same as it lights up, BUT next to that is another light symbol that actually says "4WD" but Ive never had it come on when driving (only when they all come on at startup when turning the key). So is the button with the symbol of the Diff and the letter S just to increase the front drive ratio WHEN the attessa system does choose to engage the front, and when it one day does engage (still yet to loose traction) the 4WD symbol will also light up??? Guess I'll just have to go and loose traction next time it rains and see what happens.... hmmm mind boggling :bonk: -
When I phoned around for my Series 2, several of them (Just Cars; Torque...) had Series 1 on their books, but didnt even know there was a series 2, so would not insure above the max value they had listed for Series 1 (around $25,000).... but they said they'd look into the Series 2 and update their details.

OK - so a dam hard ride LOL
-
Another suspension option with specific fitment for Stageas has been added to the Nengun site... ZEAL coilovers... dont know much about them - in fact never heard of them... but another option none-the-less for anyone with with a spare $2200 http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/384 It states the spring rate - but I have no clue about interpreting spring rates... maybe SK can put it into laymans terms as to what sort of ride thats likely to give?? Oh yeah - and they're yellow - will match my Stag woohoo lol
-
Congrats and welcome to the Stagea family! I am sure you'll love your wagon like the rest of us. What year / model is it?
-
I'm with HBF, but I think they are WA registered vehicles only - not sure. Ive got mine insured for $29,000 agreed value at around $1250 a year (or thereabouts - cant remember exactly)

Anyone have R34 GTR rims/mags for sale???
Brazen replied to emanuelt's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Check the "for sale" section - yesterday there were still 3 x sets of R34 GTR rims for sale... one really good deal Id nab if I had the $ right now... $2200 with near new tyres. Edit: Just double checked - cheap set above sold, but still 2 x sets for sale... $2500 and $3000 I think they were. -
Nah presidency was handed to you unanimously - who could argue, what with your "fat datsun wagon" and all lol die thread die
-
go find some Datto club and ask them... that all u got?? Tool. It was a euphemism to exemplify how the accuracy in car comparisons is applied lightly by yourself when it suits you - but you have to take someone elses application of loose comparison to task on some holier than thou mission. Get over yourself. Can just picture you having a tanty on the floor banging your fists and feet crying "Its NOT a GTR driveline Its NOT a GTR driveline ITS NOT boo hoo"
-
A step by step would be awesome SK!! Was looking at that exact same pulley on Nengun - only for the really stupid ricey reason that its yellow/gold - like my Stag If it works out for you Ill get it 4 sure
-
And hence back to MY original point - anyone is free to compare what they like as loosely as they like to help explain their car as best they see how. You wanna call your Stagea a GTR - go for it (but technically it aint considering all the differences... styling, weight, suspension, cornering, performance - hence why some GTR owners might laugh at your comparison - not you of course coz you're the topic of discussion lol). But If I want to make comparisons to a GTR - I'll do so, just as you can - its all a perception of righteousness on your behalf chump - lost all credibility in my book... a new Stag owner posts a lighhearted first couple of encounters in his Stag and you go getting all "Ooo Im a genuine GTR Stag owner and I just hate joo noobs taking away from my coolnees coz Im so leet"... nice way to welcome a new Stagea owner... you anti-community stuck-up f00l... back in your box.
-
Good point - and neither does the 260RS... Im sure a good number of GTR owners would laugh at any comparison between a GTR and a Stagea 260RS - so as I say - people can describe their car however it fits for them... there'll always be people 'a bit annoyed' but really who cares.
-
[insert not-so-aggressive tone here - just trying to comprehend your distinction of perception here... plus I love a good debate] A modern day Nissan is still further removed from a Datsun than a RS4 Stagea's driveline is from a GTR's - so yeah just as your interpretation of the differnce can be rationlised to make you comfortable with calling your Stagea a Datsun (despite the offence it may cause Dtason historians and purists), we are justified to rationalise our atessa system to be like a GTR's... get over it - as you said - its pedantic. And the comparison to a GTR owner being compared to a GTST isnt the same coz Burns didnt say the WHOLE car was like a GTR - just the driveline which (apart from the gearbox) is very similar. And you are incorrect to include the engine in your definition of a driveline... here's a cut and past of the dictionary definition: So yeah - its components AFTER the engine and through to the wheels... But regardless - Ill describe/compare MY car however I see fit Anyways - nice work on nabbing a 260RS ... keen as mustard on one of those babies down the road sometime... prob once the M35 Autech versions have a few years and kms on them mmmmm END OF :flamed:
-
 Mmmmm - vq35 Axis... will start saving my pennies now to trade-in my Stag on one of those in 5 or so years time me thinks
-
:bs!: Lol - i know you said u didnt "wish to sound pedantic" - but it does to me... a bit too easily annoyed maybe? Not really that big a deal in my book Burns - its your car so call it what you like If I pulled up alongside a 'van goon' at the lights Id probably say whatever I could make up just for a laugh... "Its the new 2005 R35 GTR wagon with 400rwkW from factory"... Its sort of like someone having a go at the accuracy of your avatar... "Fat Datsun Wagon"... well TECHNICALLY, having spent ages restoring a genuine old Datsun wagon, I am a bit annoyed at people comparing a modern day Nissan..... LOL - sorry couldnt resist But yeah - on the same topic though of accuracy of comparison... I've been trying to work out what the comparable 'drive-line' for my series 2 would be - seeings i dont think there was a 4WD version of the R34 GTT (could be wrong), I cant really say "R34 GTT engine with a ???? drive-line"... Anyone know what the Series 2 driveline has also been used in??
-
Yep - whole new model - not a series 3 or anything... its shortened everywhere to "M35". It came in a whole range of specs just like the WGNC34... RWD, 4WD, Turbo, Non turbo, Autech etc etc. Unfortunately after extensive enquiries there is NOONE in Australia even close to getting compliance approved for this model - so dont bother importing just yet. The few Stagea RAWS that I spoke to said they wouldnt be even looking at processing a test M35 for compliance for at least 2 years when the prices come down - coz at the moment theyd be a $40+,000 price point - which would assume most people would instead choose a Sereis 2 260RS.
-
Has anyone got the rear whhel drive.............
Brazen replied to craz0's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
RWD are available for import, and yes that is the only major difference (assuming you get the turbo model etc). There are 2 x year 2000 RWD Stagea RS for sale at Motorman Imports in QLD for $34,000, one with only 16,000kms on the clock. -
Yeah my mate got his GTR through Geoff at Prestige... the normal mailing list is good - but if you really want the best deal - pay him the $1100 asap - if u dont buy anything u get most of it back... but it just means you get emails about Stageas and the opportunity to bid BEFORE they hit the mailing list and other people beat you to the bargains... ie u get first dibs and heads up on good stags at auction.

Family car what would you get and why?
Brazen replied to craz0's topic in General Automotive Discussion
You missed his budget didnt you lol :headspin:
