  1. I don't know why... but according to the wiring schematics the clutch switch is wired in to the hicas module, pin 13. For r32 that is...
  2. SRB.. long time to reply but.. have you ever seen a non-turbo 32 gts4? I haven't. Btw, my car was auto with 4.375:1 same as manual versions. jamind.. huh?
  3. Gtst stockers are quite a bit narrower than gtr wheels. For drags you want something with a decent width, grab some z32 stockers instead.
  4. I was talking about mine.. no-one else's.. so many variables, can never say for sure wether they will fit or not without trying it.
  5. Comes down to having crappy heavy knockoff rims.. The inner diameter of the rim is what interferes with the top of the caliper, the spokes clear fine. The brackets I have rotate the calliper as well. Clearanced them with a file, not sure wether that is worlds-best-practice.. but I made it fit. Not using them atm, the adapters and a brand new pair of 324mm rda discs are just sitting on my shelf, waiting... *offtopic. If you are getting that replacement mid section for the hks dragger exhaust made up - without muffler - I might be interested in one as well..
  6. I am using an r33 gtr transfer case in my car.. the old r32 transfer case is in my shed still. Not sure what the workshop did to get it to fit but it works.
  7. The workshop that I had fit the replacement transfer case tested it by reversing the car so the back wheels were on the free rollers of the dyno, and seeing if the front wheels would pull it off the rollers.. it didn't. Only reason I had a workshop do it was because the box is far too heavy for me to remove and refit lying on the floor of my shed, better someone else have that headache.
  8. I had the same issue. Finally sussed it all out and went to bolt on one wheel.. not enough clearance inside my 17's for 324mm + r32 gtr sumi's + dogbones..
  9. Transfer done. Hopefully no last minute flights out this time..
  10. so.. minus a new turbo kit and having to pay someone else to spin spanners for you... 1k.
  11. 6k.. what did you have to replace, the car?
  12. The light isn't on to tell you it is working... there is a fault. Wether you in particular have some weird-o issue that no matter the amount of auto tech's can't find is not the question, in the op's case that is what he needs to do first.
  13. What are you trying to achieve? The stock hard lines are really reliable and are a rather neat solution..
  14. If the 4wd light is on, there is a fault. So obviously it isn't going to work. Check the fault code.
  15. Would be more fun in a gtst.. diff/sump setup won't bolt to the rwd block, so need a sump adapter. Not looked into it myself, but the rb30 adapter might be an option.
  16. How about.. buy a gtr.. seriously. For all the cost and headfskcs.. get a lot better car from the get go, seen some really nice ones advertised for very sensible amounts with all the bits you want already done.
  17. Last inspector I had said " how the hell do you drive this thing in the city "... awesome.
  18. Preload is in the hydraulics, not the transfer case, from all that I have learnt anyway..
  19. Same symptoms with mine recently, clutch pack in transfer case worn out. Picked up an r33 gtr transfer case and got a workshop to throw it on.
  20. Maybe a loose connection on your wheelspeed transducer wiring.
  21. Sort-of my conclusion as well, but still not worth bothering about unless you are going the whole hog and pulling the motor, and while it is out doing a full build..
  22. Have to pull motor to fit a new pump. Have to pull motor to remove sump. Slight overfill, and save the money for when it lets go, then either rebuild it or have another ready to drop in. Adding another head return pipe is a topic under discussion, wether it actually does anything productive or not.
  23. Sorry about not being able to turn up. Would have been nice weather for it. Gdekwant: Allan's CV's in ossie park. Did both my front shafts just recently. Good job and good price.
  24. I have found out today that I am on a flight north tomorrow morning.. bit pissed about it, but it happens. I have paid, so if someone can organise with brad if they want to take my spot, they are welcome to it. Not looking for anything for it, just get out there and have some fun. Thanks to those that have organised this.
