  1. Got a pair of Bridgestone S03 tyres. Weren't on the car long and would be maybe 10% worn max. Top performance tyres, cost over $450 each to replace. Im asking $500 for both. Ive got some pics if you're keen. Also got 2 other Bridgestone Grid III in the same size. One down to wears the other has a plenty of meat left on it. $100 for both. Again, got some pics I'm happy to send on. Located in SA but can ship at buyers expense.
  2. Maybe you should get the 4wd system re-bled. Not 100% certain but i think if you change the clutch it can introduce air into the system and that could stuff up the 4wd.
  3. Any idea how old they are and if they are in good nick but just need a clean? How harsh are they for daily driving?
  4. when my car got the right quarter replaced they had to remove the rear screen. They couldnt get it out without breaking it, tried all kinds of things with no success. They put in a 2nd had screen and now the rear demisters no worky! Im taking it back for them to sort but now that i think about it im missing some of the seals in the back, what's a set of the rear ones worth?
  5. The GTR price has dropped but there are still good examples out there, good, clean, stockies for $20k and less it seems. I agree they can be cheap to buy but as long as you are aware that running and maintenance costs can be pretty high then you wont be shocked when the bill comes in. I'm hoping to hold onto mine as I think as time goes on the good ones will hold their value as more get crashed and wrecked.
  6. The breaker bar and big piece of exhaust pipe were used with no success! Luckily my grandpa is a mechanic and has a pit in his shed so we had a bit more room to move. Rattle gun came out to play as well with ZERO movement.... That's why im starting to think there's a messy drilling session needing to happen...
  7. Had a bad time of it over the weekend. My old boy could undo the filler but the drain plug would not move no matter what we tried. Im almost thinking it'll have to be drilled out? Anyone else ever encounter this problem?
  8. There's one on ebay Australia at the moment...
  9. Cheers I'll give it a razz this weekend and see how I go.
  10. I want to change my gearbox oil and have found a tutorial for an rb20....Is it essentially the same process? Is there a better tutorial out there. Guess im just wanting to ask before i have a go and if anyone has any tips for making it easier that theyve found it would be great. Cheers
  11. Got two basically new Bridgestone S03 in 17x255x40. Been on the car not long and less than 10% wear would be a fair assessment. After $675 for the pair. Also have 2 Bridgestone Grid III, same size as the others, 17x255x40. One is down to wear bars and the other has a fair bit of meat left on it. After $140 for the pair. Also have some pics which I can mail on through. Feel free to hit me up with a reasonable offer. Prefer SA buyer but if you want to pay freight they can wherever, pm me for contact details if you're interested. Cheers Kids, Tom
  12. that's crazy cash for seals...2k??? If i start to see a leak I reckon i'll cry!
  13. What comes with the boot trim? Carpet? The plastic covers behind the lights etc...?
  14. how old is the boost controller, model? Is the boost gauge mechanical or electronic? Do they come with all harnesses and required bits...cheers.
  15. pm me the details and see how we go.... Cheers, Tom
  16. Im glad i had my weeties this morning cos that was pretty harsh! I was expecting to hear something about my ma before i read it all! Nah im only thinking of getting cheap 17inch tyres as I want to sell the rims soon. I figure I wont get my money back on spending near on 900 bucks for two 17inch tyres for a set i dont plan on keeping. For 900 bucks i could get a set of 4 nankangs with change and then sell 2 near brand new bridgestone so-3 to offset that. If i knew i was keeping the rims i wouldnt have posed the question about the dirt cheap tyres as I would have just got some more bridgestones. Cheers again for 2c, its good to hear what different kids think.
  17. Appreciate the interest and cheers for helping out. I thought it was best to ask people who actually had used them rather than assume. I'll see how I go but maybe if i get a set of 17x235 with a bit of stretched style maybe i can find some better quality for cheaper....? Im a bit hesitant to spend a heap of cash on 17inch tyres cos i want a set of 34 GTR rims for the 32!
