    Its the quality of the item. My exedy cushioned 8 puk clutch withstood 3 years of 310rwhp and alot of abuse. Thats why i only ever use that brand of clutch. Not trying to talk them up, other peoples opinions may differ

    Sure does, although my steering column seemed to be pushed further up to the firewall, not by much though

    Is the bell housing the same on the series 1,2 and 3 boxes? So say if i had my s1 box shit itself and i didnt want to repair it, could i get a later model pull style box and switch bellhousings to retain the push setup?

    4 to 5k for a rebuild? Does that include the transfer? For my 25 box it was 300ish for the bearing kit and 550ish for a full 1st-5th synchro kit

    I think Kyle recommends the 50mm gate now as minimum from what my tuner was saying. I don't know whether it was the gate or ebc that was my problem as i've since sold the setup. They are a good manifold tho

    you cant tune a stock ecu unless you chip it, to get the box out both tailshafts need to be marked and removed.

    ^same problem as CMS, 38mm tial, profec b, td06 on a std 20. Changed to a TIAL 44mm but didnt change teh boost controller. Still spiked to 14psi but it wasnt as bad as 22psi with the 38mm,

    if you only need it temporarily why not just hang off, save that little bit extra and fork out for the 25 box?

    Thats a lot of preload, without seeing it i think you've possibly made it too tight.
