  1. Awesome result Justin! I think youve just confirmed which turbos i'll be looking at in the near future, comes on early and yet has 250kw + from 130 to 200 kmh. Thats alot of area under the curve = fast car What brakes are puting on by the way (just curious)?
  2. Wondering if you had a chance to get that dyno graph mate, interested to see the power curve you got there
  3. Give me the road version! It'd scare the scheiBe out of some uber Porsche turbos... LOL
  4. When people say you need to replace the syncro, is this the whole syncroniser hub assy + blocking rings (on each side), or just the block rings, etc. If some one had a pic from the Nissan catalogue with arrows saying THIS is what you need to replace to stop the crunch. Just trying to get a clear idea of what part is creating the noise (and getting damaged)
  5. I'd put the boost gauge on the top steering column cover, so its more in the line of sight. Or maybe if your worried about your oil pressure at the track, if its got a warning light in the gauge, having it front and centre would be easier to get your attention.
  6. I'm after a radiator for an R33 manual, must be from a turbo model (has a thicker core) I think both GT-R and GTS-T use the same radiator so either will do Looking for someone i can pick one up from in the Melbourne and surrounding areas, or if anyone knows a wrecker with heaps of manual radiators avail. Cheers Shane
  7. Just to comment on a few cars that were mentioned earlier: VQ-VS Statesmans IRS setup isnt designed to take those loads, inside of the tyres would get chopped out quick And with Jackeroos, if you find good one you would probably do okay, BUT both V6 and diesels have common faults. V6 have oil consumption probs and motors cost about 8K from memory. Diesels have problems with injectors (2K job to fix) and the odd injector pump (dear as) Replacement parts are deal in general for these cars. Full chassis cars are much better as they are built a shite load stronger, like your Patrol, Cruiser, etc
  8. Falken Azenis RT215 Semi-comp tyres Size: 225/50R16 92V Bought these for my last car and didnt end up using them. Front tyres still have the little knobly bits! 99% tread left. Selling for $700 NOW $650 SE suburbs of Melbourne
  9. As the title says i've got a boost control kit for Power FC for sale. My plans have changed so its now up for grabs! 415-A001 To Suit PowerFC Nissan Skyline - R33 GTS-t S2 - ECR33 Nissan Skyline - R33 GTS-t S1 - ECR33 Nissan Skyline - R32 GTR - BNR32 Nissan Skyline - R33 GTR - BCNR33 Nissan Skyline - R34 GTR - BNR34 Nissan Silvia - S14 S1 Subaru Imprezza - GC8/GF8 Ver1-2 Nissan Pulsar GTiR - RNN14 Nissan 180SX - RS13 (CA18DET) Price is $360 incl Express Post delivery to most places (or pick-up in SE Melbourne suburbs) Cheers Shane
  10. I have one here, 415-A001 PFC Boost Controller PM sent
  11. This may help you decipher it for yourself Note: sometimes with characters like 'sa' the whole curve isnt drawn by some people, but its the same thing
  12. There's a couple of Autech 260RS on J-Specs site, one as low as 25K, and that was the one with engine mods. HKS turbos, bigger injectors, sounds like a ripper family car for someone!
  13. I'm after a pulley that bolts to the front of the waterpump hub. If you have one please PM me, preferably in Victoria. Cheers Shane
  14. That vette looks horn...... +1 more vote for the corvette option
  15. Provided you kept the car lightweight, cant add a huge stereo or anything because because weight is your enemy. I recon you could crack a 13 sec pass with a standard turbo, boost @ 15psi and a good tune. If you have any mates that could help you put everything in the car you can save yourself some dollars. Alot of the costs will be fabrication and engineer certificate, so if you find a workshop thats wants to help to you out ,and not just take your money, you should be able to meet budget. Years ago i thought about doing the same thing with an E30 BMW, the SR to me was one of the better cost/perfomance/weight ratio available. Plenty of aftermarket parts avail too.
  16. Any setup would need custom piping/ fabrication so its not really something you can skip
  17. Finding a rebuilt one would be difficult, but how much power are you chasing? If it were me, i'd buy an S14 Silva front cut, using the engine, gearbox, looms, brakes etc, possibly suspension if coilovers could be made to fit. (guestimating about 5K for a front cut, havent really looked so i dont know) If you put cams, injectors, fuel pump, boost cont, ecu and find a decent turbo/manifold, GT-RS or something decent, i reckon you could guarantee 11 second passes, and you would have trouble keeping traction in the dry in third gear. It would make one hell of a weapon
  18. For easier fitment i'd go a smaller engine than any RB. An SR20DET would be nice and small with decent power using bolt ons, and you can get monster power out of a built one with a decent turbo if you're serious about upgrades. Or a 20B triple rotor turbo, plenty of poke for a car that probably weighs 1100-1200kgs, and they can handle upgrades fairly well. Went for a spin a 65 Cortina (weighs 1050kg) with an S14 SR20DET the other day, 12psi, tune, FMIC. Damn is is that fast! Its just so lively. It's capable of a high 13 flat with only 155rwkw, more boost = easy high 12s
  19. Oh ahh, and the R34 Z-Tune is quite nice also.......
  20. Jack, that is the hottest R33 GT-R i've seen. Tough and tasteful.

    Deca Promo

Damn that looks like fun! I'm sold Awesome editing of the vid, great footage.
  22. I think they would have been refering to the Nur Edition (VSpec and MSpec), it had the steel wheel turbos (N1 spec), and they were the last of the R34 GTRs that were made. They also got other N1 component to make up the engine.
