  1. Rotors recieved! Damn they arrived quick..... top stuff!
  2. If anyone has just bought new pod filters or a catback exhaust, i'm interested in your old original gear. Please PM me if you have either avail for pickup in Victoria Cheers Shane
  3. Is this a Super Coppermix, or a G-Max or earlier clutch? Just trying to figure out which one you have coz the Super Coppermix is supossed to be the ducks nuts
  4. Just buy a new crank bolt from Nissan, the one for my car was only about 10 bucks and you know its going to hold up. Damn the old bolt was a bitch to get off. 1 metre breaker bar: no good, crank over engine with extention bar under chassis rail: no use. In the end had to use a trucksize rattle gun, which meant radiator and condensor out just to fit the gun down there! And i went a genuine Holden VL waterpump because it has the no. of blades between std and N1, the car has never overheated. It has a Nissan part number anyway, most likely the same as an R31 RB30E, works perfectly and alot cheaper.

Tom Tom's are very easy to use and have the best screen layout while navigating, but it missing one cruicial setting (for me anyway) You cant tell it NOT to take dirt/ unsealed roads, coming back from NSW it wanted to take us though dirt roads in woop-woop (not happening in the hot rod we were in). It didnt even say that they were dirt roads, i recognised some of the road names close to out destination. The Navman on the otherhand has an avoid dirt roads setting. Another annoying item (maybe caused by me not knowing how to operate it, but if so its not very intuitive); i couldnt get it to add towns as waypoint. Say you wanted to go to Echuca via Healsville, it wanted you type in street number, name etc; things that arent necessary, i didnt know any street names to type in anyway. I just wanted it to take me via Healsville, not stop at someones place! I havent tried this on the Navman yet so i dont know if that works for my uses. And they are very acurate as a speedo, better thatn most car speedos. Try it and compare it to the detectors on the Geelong or Hume Hwys
  6. Also would like to see the condition of the gtr lower lip, and is it genuine and plastic? Series 1,2, or 3?
  7. I have no doubt they'll both go like stink, but damn they're ugly. Both design teams deserve to be fired......... out of a canon into the sun...
  8. Thats bad news, sorry to hear it mate. I'll keep eyes and ears open down my way if i hear of it.
  9. When you back off, theres vacuum in the inlet manifold which opens the pcv valve. It could be because of excess oil (built up in the head and dumped into the pcv), or maybe the pcv was reinstalled incorectly. I'd suss it out to be sure
  10. How firm are these shocks, do you know the spring rate?
  11. Wayne ya lucky bugger. Not only do you get to do a stunt driver course while us suckers are at work, a bloody supermodel has to show up aswell!

  13. NGK have released a wideband AFR unit with a digital readout. The best thing about it is its pretty affordable, US$265 from some stores. Dont know if they are easy to get in Aust but i havent tried, can always ship it over from the US. I reckon it would be a handy tool for most guys here, tuning or just keeping an eye on fuel delivery. More info http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/products/perf...fx.asp?mode=nml
  14. Had an awesome day, good to see everyone out there giving it a go. As for a time, 12.85 @ 106.8. Enough to keep me happy for now
  15. holy cr@p!, thats a huge mess.... Now i understand why drag cars need the scatter sheilds and blankets, stops limb amputation and exess damage.
  16. H and HA versions are height adjustable, the pics you have put up hav a fixed lower spring seat, ie not adjustable for height. They are adjustable for damping though S-Tune http://www.nengun.com/nismo/s-tune-suspension-kit S-Tune H http://www.nengun.com/nismo/s-tune-h-suspension Darker grey and height adj rings
  17. Got mine from Bursons, had to be ordered of course, but didnt take too long.
  18. My car has the same problem from the sounds of it. I'm running 1 bar boost (restrictor removed from standard setup) and all your standard mods. For me, the car drives perfectly for the first 10 mins or so, making 14psi or so. Then it hesitates for half a sec, becomes sluggish and will only boost to 7 psi, but it feels flatter than when the car was running that boost standard. I can then turn off the car, restart it instantly and its nice and responsive again, making 1 bar again. It clearly electrical but i get no warning light on the dash to say somethings wrong and i cant figure it out. I figured either afm's or my boost solenoid? Sounds very similar to your dramas, probably the same item giving us greif.
  19. Well for me......... 1. New BMW M3 V8 version (even an E46 M3 CSL would be sweet) 2. R34 GT-R V-Spec Nur in Millenium Jade 3. Porsche GT3 RS in orange as the weekender And if you include near future releases, well the new GT-R V6TT would have to slot in there somewhere
  20. Awesome pics... The 2000GT race car is by far the best car there (well to me anyway!) It's like a Japanese E-Type jag with its smooth classic curves; hot! http://s191.photobucket.com/albums/z119/tx...=Picture242.jpg
  21. I'd also like to know more about this paricular setup as its the most power ive heard of for GT-SS. I'd like to know how its done so i can do similar What cams, comp, boost with what fuel, support mods etc and by Garrett equivellent i assume you mean the 2860R -7 ? EDIT: Thanks, too quick for me!
  22. I'm in , hopefully i can get me some more power between now and then, custom tune is long overdue.
