  1. Hey guys I bought a clutch for my r33 gts25t this week and sent it away to get the pressure plate uprated, i have just finished taking out my clutch and have measured the clutch that came out, it is 240mm, the clutch BNT have given me is 225mm and the exedy part number for it is NSK-6052, will this still fit my car?? or atleast the pressure plate?? If it dosent fit i am going to be f*kin pissed off! as i sent the p/plate away to be uprated so i will not be able to take the clutch kit back for a refund if it dosent fit. If anyone can please answer to this thread that would be awsome. Cheers Jason
  2. Im pretty sure that the HKS GT-RS for gtst, gts25t and gtt all come with the .63 a/r exhaust housing, i dont think there is optional housings avaliable. Not sure about the GTR'S tho
  3. Yup it is full faced i think, i dont think it is a "puk clutch"
  4. Im really not sure as i havent seen it, i think its just a standard clutch plate (it says on that link cerametalic) with a higher pressure pressure plate (from what i have been told), it is a sprung center, (sorry i dont know that much about clutches) http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-98157397.htm
  5. What are peoples experiences with the exedy heavy duty clutches? im thinking of going for the exedy heavy duty in my r33 gts25t which will hopefully be making 250rwkw soon, so i need to know if it will handle this amount of power and are they easy to drive with? Thanks
  6. Very nice, what sort of price would you be charging for those? and if you did go ahead and start making them would you make them with the holes for the stock bov plumback line and the stock breather line? (it would also be a bonus if if could fit the stock airbox), there was a group buy a while ago on these but it didnt seem to go to well, as the had put the hole for the bov and breather to far up near the AFM instead of near the turbo, which meant you had to modify a few things to make it fit right. Heres a link to the thread im talking about http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...ess+intake+pipe I would be very interested in one,and im sure a few others would be to, depending on how soon you mean by "the near future" as i will be getting my car tuned in a few months so would need it by then, which is the reason why i started this thread. Cheers
  7. I will also be doing this on the weekend, do i need to drain out all the gearbox fluid (i really dont want to do this as its all band new fluid in there) or will it be fine with the fluid in still in there? Cheers
  8. Any chance you have some decent pics?
  9. Ive actually seen this done before, im pretty sure it was on the mines r34, they had put one of those wire clamps (has two peices of wire and instead of one big worm drive clamp, just like the stock radiator hose clamps but alot bigger ofcourse) on each of the ribs, dosent seem like a bad idea if you ask me, i was originally thinking of somehow putting a thick peice of coiled wire inside each of the ribs in the intake pipe, the only problem would be securing the wire there good enough so that it dosent come loose and damage the turbo. Maybe i should just get off my ass and make an intake pipe lol, has anyone had any problem with using a metal intake pipe with the standard ecu? if heard of a few people having stalling problems, but i think there bov return location was in a different place compared to were it normally is on the stock pipe.
  10. Hey guys I will hopefully be getting my car tuned in the next couple of months and am hoping to reach my goal of 250rwkw, i will have all the usual supporting mods etc etc, the question i am asking is will the stock rubber intake pipe be up to the task of 250rwkw or will it simply suck closed, i have read of some people having this problem but have also read of people making more power than me and have never had the pipe suck closed, is there any solid evidence anywere as to when the stock pipe will become a restriction and get sucked closed. Any advice and help would be very much appreciated, i would hate to end up getting half way threw a tune to have this problem Cheers.
  11. Blitz lm fmic http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=155619
  12. Ok, so ive worked out 66% for correction (please correct me if this is wrong), but i cant seem to work out the latency, im guessing i need to find out the latency off the nismo 555cc's and then subtract 0.528 msec for the stock injectors to work out the latency right?
  13. Have a browse at this thread, tons of pics in here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=130489 Personally i prefer the drift wing over no wing.
  14. Awsome, ill give it a shot when my injectors and afm arrive, by the way do you happen to have the correct latency and corrections values for when i upgrade the stock injectors to nismo 555cc's, i worked it out a while ago but have lost the peice of paper i worked it out on Thanks for the help.
  15. So do the self idle learn with the nismo 555's and z32 afm?
  16. What about with nismo 555cc injectors and z32 afm? will the car still be able to drive around on the base map? im thinking of driving my car to my tuner (1 1/2 hours) will it still drive fine and be safe? or should i put it on a trailer instead. Also have another questions (sorry to hijack your thread Kaige) should i install the 555's and z32 after i have done the self idle learn procedure with the stock injectors and afm, or should i install the 555's and z32 and then do the self learn idle? Cheers
  17. Sorry but all of the above are incorrect, it is an optional front bumper that was only avaliable on the 40th anniversary r33 gts25t's (from very late 1997-early 1998). And it is quite uncommon/rare. I have a few more pics somewere if you need them.
  18. Hi This has been happening to me for the last month or 2, whenever i go to enlarge an attachment (like clicking on a pic to enlarge it for example) the pics will never show up, all that happens is another window opens up and says the following : Board Message Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information. The error returned was: Sorry, some required files are missing, if you intended to view a topic, it's possible that it's been moved or deleted. Please go back and try again. Useful Links Forgotten Password Recovery Register a new account Our help documentation Contact the forums administrator This happens everytime when i try to enlarge an attachment, even when i am signed in. Is this happening to anybody else? i dont even know if this is the right section to post this in but i didnt know what to do and its starting to piss me off lol. If anyone can help that would be great. Cheers
  19. Bump, im in the same situation at the moment and would really appreciate some helpfull advice/recommendations. Cheers
  20. In my opinion you deserve whatever punishment they give you! If u didnt learn the 1st 4 times then you seriously have something wrong with you, and you dont belong anywere near a car and on the roads! The police target drivers of cars like skylines because of pathetic idiots like you!
  21. Hmmmm another pointless thread. It all comes down to balls, not many people will have the balls to push a rwd skyline hard around the twisties, unless they have a decent amount of experience behind the wheel of one, but nearly anyone can drive a fwd hard around corners!
  22. It cost me $420 nzd i think, and yup i did take some pics, i will try and get a pic of the stock pump setup this afternoon so you can compare the differences, but basically the stock pump sits at the bottom of the bracket and has the filter bag right on the end of the pump, the nismo pump sits right at the top of the bracket and has a fuel line going to the end of were the stock pump would normally sit on the bracket, it then has the filter bag attached to the end of this fuel line (lol sorry my explanation muight not be to good but once you see the pic of the stock pump it will all make sense) Pics:
  23. Its easy enough, (im still deciding if i should use fittings in my cam covers, i would like to but they are so exspensive!), if i was going to do mine i would use the following, 2 x -10 male / 1/2npt (so the 1/2npt side would go into the cam cover and the -10 side would be left hanging out of the cam cover, then get 2 x -10 90degree fittings which will obviously screw onto the -10 cam cover fitting. You would possibly need to take the cam covers off and take them to a engineer or someone similar and get them to thread the holes the same size as your male/male fittings, they may also need to remove the cam cover baffels to thread the holes and make sure no metal fillings/threads get stuck in the baffels. I would just get the spare hole in the side of the cam cover (the stock pcv valve go in here) blocked off, either get a little bung made up to replace the pcv valve, or get the hole welded up etc etc. By the way, im not quite sure which sized fittings you would need to go into the cam cover, i was using 1/2npt as an example, but that might possibly fit.
  24. Well ive just finished installing the pump , was rather easy, only main problems i had were, took a while to actually find the right spot that the pump bracket mounts to as you cant really see into the tank so i had to just go by feel, took me a while but once its in the right spot you will feel it click into place, 2nd problem was trying get the dahm plactic screw on cap to go back on, in the end i got it on but that also took a while. those two things were the only main problems. Now to the "relief valve",i decided to use it as it obviously came with the pump for a reason, so i followed the instructions/diagram on the instruction sheet which showed that you have to cut the standard "pump to feed line" at 260mm , this is then were you put the "relief valve", this is obviously why 2 new nismo clamps come with this kit as you need a clamp on each ends of the hose for the relief valve , i couldnt find anywere that the relief valve would screw into (remeber that it has a little thread on the end of it), so it is just hanging in there , this is most likley why nismo give you a specific measurement as to were to cut the fuel line, possibly so that it wont hit the inside of the fuel tank etc etc, i had a good look/feel around and the relief valve was far from hitting anything). So to sum it all up it was a very easy install ,the car runs like stock and you cant hear any difference at all, i would reccomend this pump to everyone , I would chose this pump over the usual walboro/bosch/gtr fuel pumps anyday, for a little bit of extra money your getting a pump that is hassel free to install and comes with everything you need, no mods required!
