  1. Im getting mine done at David Hand in Fyshwick Im sure there are others that people reccomend. I would say KMF in Queanbeyan but he doesnt do insurance work
  2. RSR's are track tyres (kinda) so handle the temps better, normal road tyres fall to bits and make you feel like you are driving on ice when they get to hot. I never said go and buy Ikeya Formula Suspension arms and spend 2k on an alignment, I said get one to prevent things being difficult under brakes/mid corner etc You WILL find issues with your suspension on the track that you would never notice on the street Also no need to go buy new turbos for 1 track day. Just turn the boost down to standard and stay off the limiter and your right foot, stops the rear end getting loose (bloody Cheater cars lol)
  3. Yeah 14cm^2 housing would be better on a RB.....still big for a 2.6 though
  4. Wont make as much power...but will be less laggy
  5. And besides there is too much "thats awesome bro" comments on this forum in general...I give my honest opinion about everything...because I feel that if you put yourself out in the public like this forum you should expect some less than "omg you car is da bestttsset thing evor" Otherwise we would have a forum full of arrogant dicks who think they are better than anyone else If you have a search around and look at the EGO's of some GTR owners on here...and EVERY R35 owner on here all think they are top dog and cant handle people like me saying I dont like the R35 Hell I drive a Soarer...Im used to people saying what a piece of shit...untill they go go for a drive in one and realise that it doesnt have rattles like a millionaires baby It wont spin a bearing first time to take a corner quick etc
  6. I like 350gt's But 99% of the people who own them who I have had dealings with are complete knobs In short V-Series Owners are like BMW owners...they think their car is so much more special than anything else that no normal car knowledge applies to them Hmm so much for that being the short version...was longer than the long version.....now Im just dribbling crap.....why are you still reading? P.s Bitter and Jaded are what I do best lol
  7. Hahahah I havent done that before...it sucks...cause I like bashing ripple strips
  8. I had this setup my advise is dont waste your time I went back to stock used coils and the car ran better in everyway ECU's designed for coil on plug dot not like wasted spark setups. It would work ok if the ECU you had could be setup for it, but as is the dwell time is halved so you get half the spark if using a PFC/Nistune/Stock Ecu Quick edit - Ok that sounded kinda harsh..didnt mean it to...Im just sharing my expirence as Marc said there are quite a few big power cars using a wasted spark setup, but they all have ECU's that can run it
  9. They funny thing about this is...... This guy is the same guy as rickr333 who claims to have a 33
  10. Im loving the fact that these cars are now old enough to have propper resto's done on them! Love it!
  11. Best way to gain power...add another couple of PSI No real point playing with cam timing for more top end if you still have room to move in a) boost pressure and b) the tune
  12. Id spend 30 bucks and throw a new set of plugs in before stuffing about changing coils etc
  13. T78 = yuck I say this and I love truck turbos lol
  14. I think most people use 7 deg cuts for all but the end pieces. not 100% on that as my best effort at fabrication is a flat piece of alloy with holes in it lol
  15. They make a good point...just enjoy the GTR and just use your budget for tyres and brakes etc 10k buys a lot of tyres and oil filters
  16. Yeah new front pads before you go...rubber well that depends on how hard you go...my 33 on street rubber lasted a few track days but was taking it (kinda) easy and cause im awesome had no spins/offs , but passenger front tyre gets hammered at wakefield GTR will be even worse for front tyre wear. Also Fresh oil and 500ml overfill to prevent oil starvation No loose objects (take out everything that might hurt if you crash and that includes subs/amps etc) A wheel alignment before you go (nothing worse than the car darting to one side under brakes at near 200km/h) And most importantly pay attention to what is going on around you Check your mirrors lots and let the faster guys through when you can and watch for any yellow/red/chequred flags and RELAX AND HAVE FUN!!!
  17. Just stumbled across this powered by a 1JZ
  18. Trust also do one, plus a few places do their own custom ones
  19. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Kinugawa-Turbocharger-3-Nissan-RB25DET-R33-TD06H-20G-/270726353518?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f088c526e Might be of intrest to some
  20. Why would you want to...the Soarer Twin pots are shite...I know i drive on them everyday lol
  21. On what motor? I had a 14cm^2 housing on mine and was laggy, made ~350rwks on a mates RB30DET though
  22. Once I get a decent shed Im building one...have the plans in the study lol Track only though
  23. Ahk...must be the 33's that have the torque guage in the centre then.
  24. The 32 GTR centre gauges have the Front torque meter?...or is that on the later models?
