  1. The short answer is no. Unless you have a fairly big turbo GT3076 and up they dont make much difference. I remember a few years ago on here, a bloke put some Tomei poncams in his Stock turboed 34 GT-T and lost power everywhere in the rev range, even after It was tuned to within an inch of its life. Roy also went backwards changing to Apexi cams in his angry RB20

  7. Have you changed the spark plugs? That would be the 1st thing I would do. Bad AFM would mean it would run shit the whole time. Bad coil packs means it would run shit all the time.

Except Joe Commodore isnt sitting in a carbon fibre tub, with a harness/HANS, Fire proof suit etc. Anyone have any links to the new 4 cylinder turbo rules...bring back the 1400hp 1.5L honda motors or the Ferrari V6 turbo etc, would be cool to see again. Its also a bit of a hark back to the old days, F1 was 1500cc for a long time.

  11. 26 rail wont fit with the standard RB25 intake manifold in place.

If all the above fails and you cant get an 11mm bit to fit, heat the bastard up and then whack the 11mm bit in, might not come out ever again, but should soften and expand the head bolt head enough to get by. Also try looking at some whitworth sizes, but I'm not confident of any one in Aus carrying whitworth size allen head sockets.
  16. Werent the old HKS TA45S turbo kits low mounted? If you could find a HKS lowmount cast manifold you might be able to squeeze a T04Z in there? Not sure how you would go fitting a 4" intake pipe without cutting the shit out of the engine mount.

  21. Yeah, RPM, cam profile, valve train weight and boost cause valve float, not a power figure.
  22. E85 can be had at what? half a dozen servos around the country? Until it can be had in the middle of nowhere on the New England highway etc I wont be changing over. and we are not talking about standard compression we are talking stanard un-opened motors. I have broken enough low power RB25's let alone how many I wouldve broken running a mid frame turbo at 30psi.
