  1. Least it will go round corners then. but needs a set of wheels like this to go with the truck turbo
  2. I bet the Hella-Flush crowd will love that lol
  3. I also hope the physics are a little more lively. I hate how you can just smash the brakes on a 250km/h and the car doesnt squirm around, or if you bash a ripple strip nothing happens etc.
  4. GT5P sound was bloody terrible, the V8 and Flat 12 ferraris sounded worse than my cressida!
  5. Anyway enough about that. Does anyone know the Rod lengths and piston pin heights of the setup?
  6. Why? Every T04Z setup i have seen, whether it is on a RB20 or a 3.4L 2J has always been lazy. The wheel design hasn't changed since the 1970s Garrett T67, all they have done is add a ball bearing cartridge, and some fancy anti surge holes.
  7. t04z is just a very lazy turbo full stop I would like to see it with a GT4088 on there (similar size but more modern)
  8. Clearances > Bearings
  9. I wonder what the SAFE rev limit is on these without the Billet 4 bolt girdle.
  10. I would use 25 bearings and modify the oil holes if needed, I havent seen 25 and 26 bearings side by side
  11. So yeah, anyone saying oh this company did it and made good gains...well of course they are going to tell you it will make peak boost 100000rpm earlier would be pretty senseless tryng to sell something when you are telling them it makes no diference. Those dyno charts...was anyone there to see or did they pump in a few degrees more timing, or use a different gear or use different tyres, or turn the boost up etc etc.
  12. So a .7 ar GT60 comp housings will fit? I dont think so
  13. I can see it working all that well, yes it may halve the turbine housing, but it also halves the area the exhaust gas can use to turn the turbine wheel, so instead of the whole turbine wheel being used, only half is. When the valve opens the resulting pressure drop would cause a big dip in the power curve, ala TT supra or Liberty B4 Mazda tried it on the S4 RX7 and then Dropped it on the S5 12 months later.
  14. except a rev limiter clutch dump in 1st nearly stalls the car. pretty funny to watch
  15. Yeha I agree, I all the other GT games I have left the standard exhaust on them simply because they sound like ass with the "aftermarket exhaust"
  16. Lulz at same people with these sorts of threads....deja vu much lol. I dont know how people can get pinged so many times.....aside from 1 time when I was 18 and stupid I have never lost points on been fined. WTF do these people do to be constantly caught speeding?
  17. Just because it says so on the internet, doesnt make it true, Like I said, Ive seen many Cv8's run 14.0 and around 14.2 in auto form.
  18. And I thought the cars at Auto Salons in Aus were bad....
  19. Who ever did that road test for NRMA must have missed a gear. Ive seen bog stock (and I mean bog stock) 02 Monaros...(the 225kw ones) run 14.0 at 98mph at willowbank and there is no way a NA supra with 168kws will run 14.7 that is r33 gtst factory times and they had more power, more torque and were lighter, on basically the same size tyre.
  20. Dont worry too much about the dyno chart Bris, If it still does good skids then Id be happy lol
  21. Is there room to fit an X-Pipe or a balance pipe for the intake, I have a feeling it would well and truly fix the GTR turbo shuffle. My soarer runs a single intake pipe and has tiny turbos but I dont get the Choo-Choo train. So I think that a balance tube after the AFM's would fix the issue.
  22. Unless you have 150 different gears in your gearbox there will be corners where you will be in the 3000-3500rpm range
  23. Dont listen to him ^^ Thats not true! Spark Plugs are used for engine braking, you know when you take your foot off the accelerator the car slows down, thats because the spark plugs shoot flames and sparks at the pistons causing them to slow down, which makes the engine turn slower.
