  1. The car has a MAF, it measures the air the engine is pulling in, if that air doesnt go to the intake manifold then the car runs mega rich because it thinks the air is there when it isnt
  2. hmmm 10,000hp turbo...Will it bolt straight on to my Rb20E and will I need to do anything else to make it fit? LOL Anyhoo, Is there a graph of the Sierra Sierra EMO with the Previous turbo? Might give a better Idea on any gains.

  6. Good stuff, now just drive the shit outta the thing, stock parts are cheap to replace if you pop a motor, no doubt you could buy a complete CA18DET and gearbox for less than a set of Bearings and rings
  7. Im building a 351 to throw into an old falcon or something, Carburetted pushrod V8 sounds simple but they are not! just leave the S13 stockish under the bonnet and play with suspension/brakes, will be quicker than adding another 100hp

  12. No becasue the oxygen in the water after it evaporates will cause any flame front int the exhaust manifold to..well....make a very large bang.

  17. just thinking of that Dan/Noel, have you tried adding a few degrees of timing, might lower the Egt's enough to help the turbo live
  18. alchohol burns a lot slower than gasoline, hence you NEED to add timing, the extra heat comes from the different make up (hydrocarbons??) of the 2 fuels
  19. On pump gas yes, E85 or any alcohol based fuels have WAY higher EGT's which I think is causing the Issues. Edit, I should say unleaded gasoline being that E85 is at quite a few pumps now

  21. The power gains/losses from the cat back are just a restriction thing, No real tuning can be done with them. Has more to do with the muffler design and position in the pipe than the size, as long as its not choking the exhaust than run the smallest system you can, because its lighter and the few kg,s you save will mean more than 0.5kws
