  1. I would love a set of these as well! Add me to the list
  2. Got mine this morning! Very nice
  3. You've sold me! hahaha I may still go for the bosch, I just need to get through this week and then I'll see what cash I have available, I'll try and pull out the f'd one asap though.
  4. Would be my pleasure! Probably wont get a chance to do anything til the weekend. But I'll definately be keeping it!
  5. After this happened I did a check through the forum and these seemed to have failed more and more of late. Maybe I just lucked out, maybe there was sediment in the tank... I don't know yet. This 044 was using a pick-up sock and was mounted by a reputable tuner. Definately not a home job by me, but that said I doubt the tank would have been removed and cleaned... is that really a common practice? I'll let you know how I get on Sidd, thanks for the offer dude!
  6. My 2 month old 044 has just ticked me off. Everything was fine until I needed to fill up yesterday afternoon when the fuel light came on, as I usually do. Put ~55 litres or so in. By the time I got home I noticed the pump was about 100% louder than usual (Which was pretty loud to start with) Thought it must be the hot weather we're having and went inside. This morning all was fine, primed and started. Noise was at normal levels. About half way to work the noise started to increase as it did yesterday, again I attributed it to the hot weather. On the way home the noise remained, this time it was accompanied by a great big fuel cut under load in 4th (not good ), a whole heap of surging and hestating to rev, and conking out twice as I limped home. NOW, when the pump primes it sounds like its gonna explode and I'm lucky if the car will actually kick over. I now require a new fuel pump, I'm thinking Nismo or Tomei (no more f'ing around) any suggestions? Where can I find one at a reasonable price and in stock. Nengun have good prices but I need one REAL soon.
  7. Depends on the dyno... but would be fair to say 200rwkw running stock turbo at 8 psi. Never dynoed at higher boost pressure but it pulls a fair bit harder. Hopefully once the GCG VG30/RB25 hybrid hiflow goes on, the cooler will be up to the task of 250 or more.
  8. I got the R34 ARC SMIC on my R33. The quality is incredible! It is a fair whack larger than the stock R34 and huge compared to the R33 one. Can't remember the exact sizes but the thing is FAT and barely fits in position. From memory it was ~11cm thick, 6 rows taller and 30% wider. I'm hoping to take this thing to 250rwkw with a custom duct from the front bar, we'll see how it goes.
  9. Man, I get a smirk on my face when I jump back into my Skyline after driving my wife's 14 second WRX.... I've actually been quite impressed with my fuel usage of late, been averaging ~550kms to 60 litres, not as much power as Stan though
  10. Hahah, no mechanic needed Of course it could be done cheaper than I did it, and I even purchased some items second hand/discounted... Substitute my; Split Dump/Stainless Cat/Jap Brand Cat Back for a $700 mild steel x-force Nismo twin-plate and flywheel for a $450 item Jap Brand Intercooler kit for a $385 Chinese copy and that would've brought me down to 2k flat, whether or not I would've ended up with the same power figures, driveability and linear power delivery I couldn't tell you.
  11. I got 200rwkw and a few 106mph passes, and I did it rather cheaply! $350 for ECU remap $450 for Split Dump/front pipe $400 for Stainless cat $800 for Catback $1500 for Clutch $500 for Intercooler $250 for Bosch 044 pump = $4250 + labour. So I guess I do agree! If I went with an aftermarket ecu and a tune add ~$1200 to that figure. You can argue that you don't need the intercooler or the clutch, but to each their own. None of this is including any suspension work either...
  12. Saw a blur of white lightning (read 34 four door) over Woronora Bridge yesterday morning. So quick must be abobob.
  13. I'm interested depending on final price including shipping.
  14. Got in my car to leave work this afternoon and was greeted with a lovely new sound. Coming from the rear of the car is a loud rubbing/grinding noise on each revolution of the wheel. As you speed up it almost becomes a solid noise. It starts after the car has travelled about 10 meters and remains until it comes to a complete stop. Not sure if I'm imagining it but I swear I could feel it a little (almost like a slight hesitation on the noise) This happened in 1st and 2nd (haven't tried 3rd) however I couldn't notice it in reverse. I have checked; for anything around the wheel that may be rubbing but I can't see anything. the backing plate is not rubbing on the disc. Anyone have any ideas? Hubs Diff anything??
  15. Just had a read through some of those threads on ns.com Their stuff looks top notch! and they're real close to home. Gonna go see them about some piping and see how it goes.
  16. lol, nice calls guys! If I don't buy yours EGA41T, I'll definately be contacting you about the Secret Squirrel Tweak! In fact send me a pm about it! What brakes do they come with?
  17. Really looking forward to seeing how this pans out... I'm looking to move up to a RS Four S in th next few months and will be losing the line in the process. Hence I will need something that can take some moderate abuse at a circuit. The things I'm curious about; Front and rear driveshafts and diff (33GTR or same as normal Stagea?) Which parts are same? Brakes (Sumitomo 4 pots like the GTT and Gtst or same as auto Stagea? And do they use the same discs?)
  18. Put me down for the shift pattern cufflinks
  19. Me too, I'm in for a group buy!
  20. I got TBE, Remapped ECU and SMIC, running stock turbo on 8psi. 194rwkw @ DRC Dyno Day (unhappy dyno but I was running a lil lean, 12.5:1, cause of faulty stock pump. Most people thought readings were about 10% low) 196rwkw @ Bel Garage (Bosch 044 and a nice 11.8:1 AFR)
  21. Great work, just added my run to the list. Will be great for comparing before and after mods, being able to compare any or all of the runs. I love it!
  22. Sorry Adam, wasn't clear enough When I asked about a car wash in which you can wash your own car they were disgusted, they told me you pay people to wash your car for you. I believe some of the comments were, "oh, I think they have those things in Bathurst or Orange or something" Do you feel like a Hobbit yet?
  23. I work in the shire, so I thought I'd ask the locals about it for you. They all said "wash your own car! ewww!"
  24. The 360 was quiet??? I was disappointed I missed it, expected to hear an awesome soundtrack out of it. They always sound horny out on the road! Oh well, guess I didn't miss too much.
