  1. Pictures are up, and am in the process of replying to all the pms.
  2. Turbo back up for sale, read all about it in the first post. If you plan to buy it... Don't agree to a price on the phone and then bust my balls when you arrive at my house. Don't ask for an unreasonable warranty on a second hand car part. Do make sure you can afford the item you are buying. If you want a brand new item with warranty, save up alot more money and buy a GTRS kit or the like.
  3. All PMs, emails and phone calls replied... whew Looks like the turbo will be gone tonight, and a few wanna check out the seats as well.
  4. Pics are now up for the Recaros. Price is $1000 for both seats and 1 driver's side genuine rail.
  5. Mate, the turbo never made it onto my car. So I have no graphs to prove the power to you... There are alot of debates about how much power these and many other turbos make. I cannot offer you a definitive response, although I can name many people with over 260kws using this turbo.
  6. ^^The avatar is all mine dude ^^ Actually, considering I no longer own the car.... Oil cooler is now sold pending payment
  7. Hey johnabs, Turbo info can be found here; http://www.gcg.com.au/Catalogue_Menus/Upgr...pgrade_gtst.htm I would anticipate 250 - 280 rwkws depending on your supporting hardware. Lots of very nice offers on this turbo already!
  8. My turbo is back up for sale. It is an R33 RB25 turbo highflowed by GCG. It comes with both the RB25 exhaust housing and a VG30 exhaust housing. I had the VG30 housing machined and fitted to the turbo by GCG last year, I asked them to look over the turbo and they gave it the thumbs up. I have owned this for approximately 18 months but it never made it onto a vehicle I own. Previous owner had receipts showing the turbo was highflowed only 3 months prior to me purchasing it. Why is it back up for sale? I sold it to a member of these forums, and being the nice guy that I am I gave him a warranty. He decided the turbo was defective and has returned it for a full refund. Reason? There is a small crack in the housing on the ring of the wastegate. It was taken to GCG by the purchaser and they called me to discuss. As it is they said it wont affect performance, but may deteriorate over time. Given this the purchaser decided he did not want it. He told me GCG offered to fix it for ~$120 if it would make him feel better, but he was not interested. (I assume they would weld it) I now have the turbo again. The deal! I'm not a shop, so from now on there is no refund or warranty. If it was a brand new unused item I would be happy to oblige, BUT this is a second hand highflow built from a turbo that is ~10 years old. I will post pics of the VG30 crack tonight so there is no confusion. I will also post pics of the RB25 housing and a hairline crack (only visible on inside not outside) that also concerned the purchaser, but I believe to be normal in a housing of this age. The pics The wastegate crack Rear wheel and housing Compressor side and wheel Pictures of both housings, you can see the size difference Hairline crack on RB25 housing OP6 goodness! Turbo was sold for $1400, given all the f'ing around and the crack in the housing I'm letting it all go for SOLD pending full payment
  9. Hey Toshi, I'm good thanks! I couldn't find the dyno sheet so I grabbed a screen capture from the SAU dyno comparison;
  10. ^^Thanks Billy!!^^ I added some pics I took on my phone. Over all the car is very straight, it only has one tiny dint on the driver's door. I had one incident in the car ~4 months ago which resulted in panel damage down the passenger side after a stupid lady side swiped me. There was absolutely no stuctural damage and the car was repaired at Lansvale smash with all new panels (guard, door, sil, skirt, rear quarter) from Nissan Japan along with a full strip and respray of the bonnet. It was an awesome job and insurance forked out close to $8k! and the car is looking better than ever.
  11. Will take some photos at lunch time, so they should be up ~2pm or so.
  12. Great news this is going ahead! I'll definitely go for a black one!
  13. +1 actually I'm very interested either way but would absolutely LOVE it in black!
  14. I'm running straight off the actuator so ~ 7-8 psi and I have cracked out 196 and 198 rwkw on DRC and BEL dynos respectively. I have TBE, ARC sidemount and remapped ECU. I can't guaruntee my turbo is stock but I am the first Aus owner and I doubt the likelihood of a Jap hiflow.... Oh and I've cracked a 108mph at WSID (lets not talk about the time though, launch sucks!)
  15. Have had a set of these on my car for over 2 years, never skipped a beat. Free bump!
  16. I advise going for the Tomei / Nismo replacement! My Nismo is quieter than my old 044 and was far too easy to fit.
  17. Not 100% sure, but I'd say its different people. Different spelling and the Nistune site is daughter boards exclusively.
  18. After googling I found some references to the author/developer working on the RB25 ECU and believing the solution would be available shortly and would cost only a fraction more.
  19. I found this site: http://home.aanet.com.au/nistune/ I utilises a daughterboard and comes with the software, consult cable, etc.... $200AUD for the board and $200AUD for the software.
  20. Given Apexi are making them for larger orders, it would be wonderful for another of the 'performance-wise' style group buys. I wonder how much more Apexi are charging for these pfc's? Turbotechnics price on an RB26 power fc might give a good indication, as the workshop or proper storefront prices were always about 30-50% more than the group buys/traders on SAU.
