i was thinking that the stock RB20 ecu will be perfect to run the RB25DE because i will be using an RB20 AFM and the RB25de injectors are the same size as 20DET injectors... hence when the engine is running, the AFM is metering a larger amount of air going into the engine (becasue its 2.5ltrs) and will add fuel accordingly... hence mixtures will be fine (at idle) before you knock my block off, i understand that anywhere on boost, the 260ccs will not be able to supply sufficient fuel, but i think my metering hypothesis is correct...

im sorry but in my experience, the RB20 is a complete waste of time. Short Stroke, no torque, small exhaust pulses... its just not on... plus they are the weakest of all the RB engines. If your going to look for a reliable 240 RWKW then go and get yourself a $900 RB25DE and start adding your fancy name brand parts... an RB25 making 240 rwkw is a hell of a lot less scared and stressed than the equivilent RB20... and if your on the coast, i know of a RB25DE (catch is its the 4wd model) for $750. Heres a picture to prove my point... doesnt take me long to kill 20's

Its an R33 NVCS (VVTi) (VTEC) (Variable Cam timing) motor. Its not from an R32 GTS25, Its from a Naturally Aspirated R33 GTS

the block has all the same fittings for turbo oil and water lines... this is not a concern for me i am interested only in what the stock injector size is for the RB25DE

I just bought a NVCS RB25DE and im going to bolt on all my RB20DET stuff... my question to all the knowledgable gents out there in skyline land is: What size are the stock side feed injectors and will my shit run lean if i use a RB20det computer with stock injectors? also any helpful hints and tips you guys might have RE installing said motor. motors with a very short stroke are capable of revving significantly harder than motors with equal bore/stroke, or longer stroke. A motor with a long stroke, however is capable of producing more torque at a lower RPM. This is why the SR20 makes MORE torque than the RB20 whilst having the same capacity.
