  1. I wouldn't put anything other than 98+ in an R34 GTR & I'd hope he feels the same!! From memory there won't be any 98 available between Norseman & Ceduna in SA, hence why my boot was filled with jerry cans
  2. Don't expect anything other than jerry cans filling your boot, so luggage & all that will have to be in the back seat along with the spares you want to take. I did Sunshine Coast - Perth which was about 4500kms & didn't have tyre problems, but taking 2 spares is a personal decision
  3. Do you realise the scary part with that?? The people on the other side of the river couldn't see you either
  4. Great thread. Will def read again
  5. What a raping It's ridiculous to think everyone will be able to afford anywhere near what they seem to be pushing through at the moment, I really hope it does get pulled because if a change of exhaust is all it takes to have to go through this experience then a whole lot of cars & people are in trouble... And Nic, pull your head in & don't make stupid abusive or offensive posts in the future please. Yes you have a point to consider but you're not going the right way about getting it across.
  6. You can get another front bar from a wrecker & get it resprayed or buy a new one from a trader HICAS might just be the fuse likely to have been taken out or blown, or it's been removed Not sure on the headlights but I'd guess they would be the same for an R32 GTS-t... 9k is depending on the condition, but if that's the only major dramas with the car it looks like it could be a good buy
  7. Pre-booking....it might only be 5 minutes away but you could be in line for 30mins, it could be 2 hours.....go too late in the afternoon maybe not at all.
  8. Sif farken sell the 33 get rid of the fairmont!! Unless you have more than 2 kids of course..... But if I were you I'd just hold back on the racing side of things for a while until you are on top of everything (in the most sexual way possible) and then you can get back into it (again). But if not & the 33 must be sacrificed it would suck, but be for the better in the long run.
  9. They can add to the original list. Really they shouldn't, as the inspectors should be consistent, but they aren't. Seb with his 31 has had way too many inspections than he should have, and no matter what he fixes they keep "finding" other stuff so it's dragged out way too long I know his pain! Overall it doesn't really matter what pits you go to, as the inspectors can be doing shifts at different pits. The good & bad things is just chance really, as your experience will come down to which inspector is doing your examination.
  10. FMIC's don't need permits With the staggered wheels/tyres unless it's stupidly different there shouldn't be an issue, I passed quite a few times with 235/45 & 255/40 & they never mentioned anything to me, the only reason the yellow sticker didn't come off was because I was waiting for mods approval....
  11. They will ask you to spray them & they will have to work. The other one is probably clogged up somewhere & that's why it won't work
  12. You're kidding, right?
  13. I got a bruise on my back like what Matty got as well from those seats Also got bruises on both my hips from getting thrown around in the seat around the corners The inside of my left knee is a bit sore from hitting near the steering column I think that was from when I was right behind someone coming up to the S bend, they locked up so I was on the brake too & ended up in a spin in the middle of the track. Someone else comes around the corner & is about to straight-line me but luckily they locked it up & hit me more sideways than anything else. I lifted my knees up just in case but when I got slammed I think my leg took a whack. Decent impact anyway though lol, sent me from the track over the kerb into the dirt That was fun dragging the kart back onto the track in the least widest part of the course! I'd like to thank my driving partner Dan in regards to our result, as it took both of us working to the best of our ability to fail so hard.
  14. Hmm....should I really spend my birthday being shot in the nuts (probably) all afternoon?? Survey says....yes
  15. Storm front in my pants expected not long after completion of race apparently Don't think that red suits you mate....
  16. Yeah but I'm sure it will turn shit later in the day haha Can a mod please change mine & Daniels team name to "Team Yeah Mate" Cheers Is the track the one on the left just as you've turned onto Wattle Rd??
  17. As a kid growing up I used to play footy all the time with it pissing down like it does in Victoria, I'll be taking the soaking like I did all the footy matches. Man the f**k up people
  18. How much will you pay? keen4cash
  19. Would suck to have been that other person.
  20. Out of court settlements would be easier & possibly more common that way, as to not potentially waste time & money
  21. [OPEN GATE] ftw Just a shame a lot of people have no idea what it means though hahaha
  22. lol at some of the prices I'd say mine are decent, be better than some of the ones I've found for WA on there & I wouldn't try selling them for near the prices some people have....
  23. Paul you just about summed it up perfectly with all of that Being the sole provider available to the public they can charge what they want, having the government forcing you to take the only option puts them in a very nice position from their point of view. Personally you can't blame them for that as anyone would like to be in as prosperous a position as that, but the fact other people/businesses are being held back by that is where corruption is f**ked. (for lack of a better word) Just as already been mentioned over in the eastern states tests like this are a hell of a lot cheaper & a lot more openly available, almost to the point it seems they are trying to help provide the people with the test, not take advantage of them.
  24. Getting the turbo permitted without an emissions report, if the suspension hasn't been modified so it's no longer adjustable it shouldn't be permitted (technically not even meant to pass the pits) & having an exhaust listed at all let alone without a dB reading (even though mine is one of the quietest on an import I have ever heard I still had to get that done)
