I thought a pair of GT2530's were generally considered the perfect match for a street engine ?

you know how it has 0.60 Front and 0.84 Rear, which is the one most resonsible for lag ? or are they both equally responsible ? cos i really want to cut down lag as much as possible so i was looking for an A/R of around 0.64 is this right ? it would bolt straight on right ?

would this be a good turbo upgrade for a 32gtst ?

If i put an illegal mod on my car i run the risk of being pulled over and defected for it. We all know this. So why would you get upset if it happens ? There is NO excuse for the way the dude on ACA behaved period. Say yes sir, no sir cos the only way of saving your ass is if they change their mind cos they realise that your not like the many assholes they have to deal with eg the dude on ACA. I respect police cos when it comes to the crunch cops will put their life on the line to save mine. When they pull over idiots on the road or dudes dragging its cos they don't want dangerous drivers putting other innocent people at risk.

There is no argument that their are some wanker cops out there. Im sure there are also some racist cops just like their are some racist people. I know a few cops and the ones i know are all top blokes without a racist bone in their body, so its not like ALL cops are f*ckheads. I can tell you if i was a cop and a leb group like the one on ACA started up on me like that then the next time i pulled over a leb in a line i couldn't help but look for something to defect, its a vicious cycle. The fact is that the dude on ACA was acting like a dick and giving lebs and skyline drivers everywhere a bad name, i wanted the cop to take his badge and gun off and beat the shit out of the cheeky ****. I mean, give the dude some respect he's just doing his job for ****s sake.

i want to get this BOV off nengun for my 32gtst but its just the BOV so i assume i need an adapter kit or something right ? anyone know where i can get one? has anyone with a 32gtst got one of these BOV's and are they any good ?

I wouldn't let it bother me. Sometimes i see people put in stupid offers and some times i see people asking way too much. At the end of the day law of supply/demand should sort everything out so that prices are fair. There are always gona be pepople trying for a bargain, it seems like most people selling stuff say that price is negotiable so obviously people are gona start with a low figure expecting to haggle a bit higher. If you offer something and say that its 'firm' then only an idiot would put in a low offer, don't let the idiots bother you cos they arn't the ones who will be buying anyway.

far cry is all about being stealthy and silent. If they cant see you but more especially if they cant hear you, your all good. Have you ever used that gun with the silencer ? I have taken out entire groups of guys without them even firing a shot at me cos they never knew where i was.

Why would you bother getting an aftermarket BOV that is plumb back if the stock one is plumb back ? So basically atmo BOV's are good for performance because there is a slight decrease in lag and they prolong turbo life but plumb backs are good because they give a smoother ride ?

Hey guys im looking at getting a BOV now so help me with some newbie questions: 1) Are their any performance differences between BOV's? plumb back or atmo ? 2) If the plumb backs keep the air in then do they not make any noise ? 3) Does that mean that the stock BOV on 32gtst's is plumb back ?

hey mate, very interested in getting a turbo of you, just need some advice first How much horsepower/kilowatts do you want? =210rwkw What are you using the car for? = Street When do you want boost roughly? = 2200/2500 Do you want power early or late in the rev range = early What Mods you engine has or is going to have including computers or exhaust etc = 3' turbo back, pod+cai, am organising powerfc, FMIC and turbo(this is where you come in) Obviously, what car? = R32 Gtst Intercooled? and is it large, small, medium = will be med Still running AFM or upgraded or no longer there = stock Custom exhaust manifold or standard? (custom exhaust manifolds give you more options) = standard External wastegate or internal(limited to virtually 450hp)? It seems like people are recommending this 2530 for this setup correct ? i know 210rwkw isnt huge, but its all i feel i really need. I was planning on high-flow but it seems like for a bit extra i can give myself much more potential in the future perhaps.. ??

OK i swear i read that HICAS doesn't even kick in till about 60km/h ?? is this true ? also was hicas an option or what ?, what percentage of cars that came out of the factory were fitted with hicas do you guys rekon ? my mates are always dissing my 32gtst cos its got hicas and apparantly it adds like an extra 100kgs is this right ?

Thanks for all the advice guys ! yea i decided to hold off on the AVCR for a while, good deals always come around and i agree there are a few things i need for the car first, i just thought maybe i should get it now whilst i can get it cheaper. I thought that an AVCR might be a little bit of overkill for a pretty much stock car when i could just get a manual boost controller heaps cheaper, but the AVCR looks so cool ! also, how much boost does a gts-t run stock anyway ? like 7 ?

Just checking to see if anyone else has done this and if it is a good idea ? their price is by far the lowest ive seen. Including shipping its only $640. Has anyone had any good/bad experience with buying from nengun.com ? I just imported a stock R32 Gts-t and my list is full turbo back zorst, CAI +filter and the AVCR. Anything wrong with this ? 3 months ago i knew next to nothing about cars but since then i have read all the new threads on this board pretty much everyday and i feel like i know what im doing now. (whether or not i actually do is another question). Finally i want to get a full service and have all fluids changed and the place my friend recommended to me ( cypher in W.A ) quoted me $650 to change everything + battery. Does this seem expensive ? should i go to a cheaper place or pay extra for the best stuff and have a real expert give the car a thorough going-over ?

I actually wanted mine to take like 4 more months to get here, so i can save up for import duties+compliance and i dont get my license back till august anyway !!
