It sounds like the fuel pump is on the way out. That would explain why it wouldn't rev past 4k.

I don't have one as they are illegal in QLD, if I have been boosting it I drive around block, as sitting in the driveway stopped only increases temps due to no airflow. But after that I ussually do let it sit for 30seconds for everything to level out. Modern oils are designed not to burn even at extreme temps, turbo timers are out dated devices.

Blue LED's in PFC? I saw this on paulr33's PFC thread and was instantly intrigued (looks übercool:) ). Does anyone know how to do this? If so could you post pics and what's required.

Hey rb30det guys, is it possible to bore out the rb25 block and use rb30 rods and pistons to make an rb30det?

yep, I just thought it would be easier to have switch so you don't have to screw around with the settings every time you want to use it.

I meant more from the point of flat changing because it would be shifting gears at full boost and I wouldn't want to constantly do this. I'm guessing I could just put a two phase switch between the power supply and the launch control. Isn't the idea of these types of units to interfer with the signal going to the coilpacks and would therefore operate regardless what ecu you had. I know for a fact the Bee*r unit works with PFC because they installed one in the HPI r32 and it runs a PFC. I'm just not 100% sure on the gizzmo unit?

Yeah, I know s15 injects would be a good option as per my first post in this thread. Finding 6 all in good condtion is a bit of problem though. Anyone got 6 or 4 or 2 they want to sell me?
