  1. Oops my bad, T88 and blue neons
  2. t88 would be your best option. jj
  3. I've got one, but haven't installed yet... don't know if i will either. The only time I give my car stik is at night and the air is cool enough already. The highest knock level I have had at night has been 17 which is nothing. However if you're stupid and crusify your car during a hot day it would benefit your cause a little. If your car is completly stock the intercooler will make it slower due to the extra meter of piping and the huge volume of the intercooler that has to be filled with boost. A FMIC will make your car look faster, besides that at this level of performance any el-cheapo or brand name cooler will cool effectively enough for your needs. So yes, they work good.
  4. Unlucky dude, avc-r's do no like heat and direct sunlight and I'm guessing that's exactly what the previous owner has done, stuck it on the dash. Your best bet is to get back to previous owner and try to resolve the issue.
  5. Yep, that's the one you need. Keep in mind though cops lov'm as they're loud and damn obvious not standard equipment when you open the bonnet.
  6. The front pipe can be pushed back and it just drops down, you don't need to take off the manifold. Why is taking the turbo off the first thing your doing. If I suspected the turbo but wasn't sure I wouldn't be rushing in and ripping it off. For start just take the intake pipe off and check for large amounts of shaft play, if not and you still suspect the turbo take the front pipe off get a mirror & light and inspect wether there's any damage to the turbine wheel. If it's a no to both of these and there's no excessive amounts of oil around the turbo or discolouration to the turbine housing the problem may not even be the turbo.
  7. You mean compressor stalls when it makes a fluttering sound... Turbosmart Vee-port
  8. Just leave your stock ecu in there until you get some more mods and up the boost a bit. The power difference wouldn't be that much at stock and you won't have to pay extra to get dyno time again. I was lucky I got mine second hand with a great tune on it already, as the guy who was selling had the same mods as mine.
  9. Yeah its just the stock BOV, its main fuction is to ensure driveablilty. A big rush of power when you get back on throttle is not what nissan wanted for there new production cars at that time so they designed it to bleed off a bit of boost to ensure more linear power. Get Greddy type S BOV this should fix your off throttle problems.
  10. 25psi would be a safe level with the thicker head gasket.
  11. With the r33 tail lights is the center garnish bit avaiable in crystal?
  12. Bahaha! Beat me to the punch.
  13. Any have a Rein hard exhaust system. I've heard they sound hot.
  14. ' 10 large???', I don't know about that you might blow the welds on the intake.
  15. Coilovers Clear indicators GTR Front bar Trust side skirts and rear bar Carbon fibre lip spoiler PFC AVC-R FMIC Probably more than 10k there but meh. z32 afm 040 fuel Pump S15 480cc injectors highflow turbo Oil cooler New bushes and other suspension compents
  16. I think there should be restrictions as the excess import of 33 in particular has really killed the resale value.
  17. I have been pulling off my turbo off for the last 4 hours. I would not recommend it for someone having no mechanical experience. I found there were so many little unexpected things that have slowed me down. Its pretty obvious what has to be modified once the oil lines are off as you can see where they are restricted. I'm going down to Pirtek tomorrow to pick up my stainless braided hose and 6mm banjos and washers and should hopefully be fitting the turbo tomorrow. Has anyone on here saved their coolant? As everything is off except for the water lines and I don't want to drain my relatively new coolant. How do I put the new turbo in without completely draining the system? Also is it worth replacing the washers on the water lines? Cheers, Brett
  18. Wastegate actuator playing up possibly I agree
  19. how old is this thread
  20. Would it be that all PFC's are getting discontinued, its just that more popular/common models are going to sell out quicker ie. 34 gt-t and 33 gts25t. (just my theory anyway may not be true)
  21. ^^^ haha this is such a stooopid thread. hey AndrewD you're a d1ck with ears.
  22. And if you can't translate it try hooking the different wires up to a household battery (probably one of those big square ones) this will establish which two are for illumination. Red is power black is earth and the other wire will be oil pressure signal. If don’t want go hacking into the wiring harness near the cpu, just take your dash out and tap into the factory oil pressure gauge wire. Then hook the two illumination wires up to the lights to the cigarette lighter or the dimmer ((which goes to the dash (it will be the really dodgy looking wiring because all importers are really dodgy)). Then final just hook the red and black up to constant power like the factory clock or something. Hope this helps.
  23. Other people have wrote on this forum that it needs to be super tight, so use a breaka bar and use plenty of leverage and tighten the sh1t out of it.
  24. How do you rb25 guys find spool up with the rb25 max oversize hi-flow?
