  1. Hey guys, I'm having a few troubles with the install of a Greddy Full Auto Turbo Timer. Troubles are, I have no adapter plug and the wiring instructions I got from another forum for a tt install do not match my car (r33 gts25t). Just wantng to know what wires are what (Plug from ignition barrel) White with red stripe? Black with red stripe? Black with white stripe, thick wire? White with black stripe? Red, thick wire? The wires I need to know are: 12V, IGN and Acc. Cheers, Brett
  2. N20...
  3. A lot of the cheaper bar and plate IC's I have seen don't quite look the part...
  4. Just interested, are gaskets for skylines over the counter items from like repco and places?
  5. that's the problem, nothing comes to mind right now. (sorry couldn't resist napoleon dynamite reference.)
  6. Both stock the r32 GT-R would be a downgrade. If both were modified the GT-R would be a huge upgrade
  7. Bump, Anyone else with surprising 1/4 mile times for r33 gts25t?????? (stock turbo or highflow) Could you post your engine, tyre and suspension mods too .
  8. Both of them are probably off. Have got larger than factory wheels on as this can through the reading.
  9. How do you know for certain it doesn't reduce restiction. He may be right.
  10. You can actually hang it neatly by the stand in the drivers side air vent. Much more viewable and does not fall down on hot days.
  11. my aim 260rwkW, heaps enough for street.
  12. It's called an intake pipe by most people probably not the techically right word for it but anyway.
  13. Tell me what you people think :sorcerer:
  14. I'll have some Engineering student quality diagrams up soon.
  15. My idea is to have a 2.5 inch hole in the side of the airbox and run flexitubing down through the spare intercooler hole and have a pod filter and a shroud around it to guide the air as well as having a panel filter up the top. I'm also planing to make the air box a larger volume by making the box square at the bottom rather than indented. I going to get it plastic welded and this also moves the postion of the air flow meter and makes it easier to fabricate a stainless intake pipe.
  16. Have you already got an after market exhaust system from turbo back?
  17. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Why not just buy the software and dongle or would that be to logical for a university student.
  18. Quote Hot4's tech handbook: 'Where the turbo engine will gain most from cam gears is by retarding the exhaust cam shaft. Normally manafactures like to advance the cam more than optimum for peak power because their highly restictive exhaust manifolds and systems can force hot gases back into the cylinder, promoting detonation. Start retarding the exhaust cam a couple degrees at a time and watch the power climb, particularly if the engine has a larger exhaust housing on the turbo or an extremely low-restriction exhaust system.' I found this quite interesting, and has lead me to buy one soon for when I get slide max oversize turbo tuned properly.
  19. Fuel pressure reg (with new fuel hoses), basic highflow with steel compressor and turbine wheels, boost tee, K&N panel, safc and tune at around 15psi. There goes $2000 and you should have easy over 160kw.
  20. Good work buddy, can't wait to see your write up.
  21. Get a K&N panel filter, they drop straight in & cost around the $109 mark. With the pod you've got to have a proper cold air box & feed to get the grains of greater surface of the pod, plus in the end once you've paid for pod adapter & cai it'll be around $200.
  22. Just wondering if someone can post up some links to where you would find one of these. Its for my gts25t and hoping to spend around the 200 dollar mark to get one. oh yeah needs to line up to the standard airbox too. Cheers Brett.
