  1. *cough*
  2. Another idea probably won't work but anyway... use the boost function in the powerfc to control what volume of water is being injected at a specified rpm by adjusting solenoid duration.
  3. WOW! that's hot, soooo much better looking than the v35.
  4. Try checking the hose from the manifold to the boost sensor I broke this once and didn't notice, as the hose is fairly thin and brittle due to it's age. That is if 32's have electric gauges and not mech??
  5. Dash mats = Ugly as. Just remember to put up sun shield when you park in the sun.
  6. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Universal-Intercool...1QQcmdZViewItem You could use this vertically with one end directly plumbed into the stock cooler pipe and the other plumbed back with a bit of custom pipe work. It would probably flow better than an r34 cooler due to the thicker tubes. You will also need to make a shroud to guide the air into it.
  7. At least you're doing it for all the right reasons
  8. Hey, Someone had these forsale in they're signature for $20. Anyone know who it was? Cheers, Brett.
  9. $3k!... go HKS if your installing yourself
  10. I am thinking of just buying a 100psi pump, a proper spray nozzle and using the signal from the stock boost solenoid to activate the water injection at 4500rpm via the use of a relay. Anyone have any thoughts on this idea? I know it gives limited scope for tuning abilities, but it would reduce some of heat generated at higher boost levels.
  11. Yeah, I read somewhere having a nozzle before the compressor helps cool the intake charge heaps better but can also cause wear the compressor blades down if the mist isn't fine enough.
  12. That kit does look fairly decent, I'm guessing after currency and post it would be around $800 too.
  13. Yeah, I've seen that site, it'll probably end up being the same price once you get it to your door step though. Hmmmm wonder if you can use nitro fuel from rc cars in water injection...
  14. No troubles fitting a Type-M front bar as long as it comes with reo. All the mounting points are them same.
  15. In previous threads some people have had no gains by retarding the ex cam on a fairly stock motor. The problem with a stock turbo is the small turbine wheel, which causes backpressure. This back pressure causes the spent gases to re-enter the combustion chamber if over lap is too great.
  16. Anyone know of kits around the $400 mark, I've only seen them for $600 and over. Seems a bit over priced for what they supply.
  17. Intercooler spray would be a good idea for the r34 smic. Probably won't suffer from heat soak as much.
  18. Wooops answered my question before I could post it.
  19. CEF11E have you noticed any difference in response or top end without a tune for the gear?
  20. I tried pop-riveting mine ages ago and all it did was cause the car to idle irratically.
  21. Just keep it at stock boost and don't give it too much on a hot days. I've been driving around for months a tune that wasn't mean't for the mods I now have and haven't had any issues. Just take it easy for while and think of the money you will be saving on petrol.
  22. An aftermarket ex manifold is the biggest waste of money on a stockish r33 let alone an ebay special.
  23. Awesome result dude!!! High-flow turbo's really do benefit from an adjustable cam gear
  24. Just get a straight piece of pipe and weld flanges on it on both sides and on the resonator then you swap them whenever you feel like being louder and having (slightly) more power. No way of telling how much power it will rob without testing on a dyno, purely speculation.
