What Is That Box Under Parcel Shelf?
Ceffy_SA replied to huddy's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Mine doesnt have any... I feel left out lol -
Dam Cefiro rear seats! The little clips on mine are broken so i just have to pull away at the seat one corner at a time screaming at it until it comes out
-
CA18DET injectors, i believe they are 380cc you can get them almost free, they fit straight in and they do not need resistor pack (correct me if im wrong), just get them flow tested to make sure they are working fine. Will need full tune however and new o-rings are recomended, source from nissan

S14 Coilovers Or Shock & Springs On A31
Ceffy_SA replied to Conrad 2NR's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Im pretty sure the rears will bolt up however looking at pics the S14 and S15 rear sturts look alot (and i mean alot) longer than the S13/'cefiro rear struts so be careful -
Yep, my thoughts exactly
-
Thanks for that info, pretty common with the ceffys. Great thread this one is too, pitty about the chit chat in here though, could be cleaned up a bit just leaving the facts
-
Jeez does reading this thread hurt anyone else's head? Its probably been said quite a bit now but if your not sure about something dont just have a crack at it and hope for the best as more often that not it wont turn out well.

Rodger that, very simple to make, i paid $40 for mine (I was lazy) to be made up as my rubber inlet was sucking closed after i put a larger turbo on (plus i was missing that metal spring thing inside the rubber inlet) fixed up that problem and as a plus my rep went through the roof due to my flutter being 2 times louder and very VL turbo commo esque, it just sounded gaylord with stocko rubber inlet on, win win lol . Just remind the exhaust shop to weld in a 3/4 (i think) fitting into the new pipe for your cam cover breather (well on a Rb20 at least, not 100% sure its the same on RB25)
-
Trust me on this one, you would be surprised what a metal induction pipe can do for your sick flutterzzz, plus it can actually do something benificial for your engine rather then just the noise (shock horror) which is prevent the factory rubber inlet hose from being sucked closed under the vaccum created by the turbo
-
Hey mate, as everyone else has said before it wouldn't be a good idea to block it off as you factory fuel maps in your ECU are "written" assuming you still have your BOV there, when you remove it the factory maps dont change and your ecu will behave as per usual making the car run in a way you probably wont be happy with (stalling in an auto car is not plesant). Im not sure if removing or blocking the BOV wears a turbo prematurely (my ceffy RB20 never came with a BOV standard yet they used the same turbo as an R32 RB20 later on) as i have heard alot of for and against responses and not alot of real proof. If you still want to block off your std bov then i would recommend you get a metal induction pipe as well as most (read: most) of the time it sounds weird and you dont get the full effect of the fluttersssszzzz Happy Fluttering and may the Pigeon be with you

Defect sticker: +10KW +Rep

Yep thats true, i have heard of people buy the gas struts from Ebay and them fitting 100%, you would probably faint if you got a price for them from Nissan

Help I Accidentally Added Disel Into The Petrol Tank
Ceffy_SA replied to MFC05's topic in General Automotive Discussion
RD28 engine conversion time? I remember when "super" was still around at the servos, it used a different sized nozle too -
Yea that is harsh dude, some cops just try to intimidate you and they can do it really well (hell they do it enough), just keep to your guns (as long as your in the right lol) and you will be right (well most of the time). Should have gotten "lost" on your way to the station and drove your car home, unless the undies (undercover cops) were following you there Not my current defect but the previous one i got defected down Port Adelaide, copper on a motorbike with the camera out got me for speeding and defected my ceffy, i was asking for it though as i was speeding. My current defect however was a bit rude, about two months ago now i got off my previous defect, so about a month later i was driving up Goody rd at around 8:00am on a sunday minding my own business doing under the speed limit, copper on the other side of the road just about snaps his neck when he catches a glimpse of my car and the disco lights come on. I pull over and and he says that my car "stands out" and that he has radio'd in that he is defecting my car (i wasnt too happy as he assumed it was defectable from the other side of the road before pulling me over), i say i have just been through regency and that everything is legal and i have paperwork from them. He looks at the car and says its too low (doesnt even begin to check the ride height) and he can apparently read Japanese as my tyre placard in written in it yet he knows that my wheels are to big. Was a bit pissed off about that but own a car that "stands out" and expect to get defected but the killer was when he bought up drugs and accused me of taking them saying that young idiots out there take drugs (i guess they do but dont accuse me of doing it) on a sat night then drive home "wacked" on sunday mornings. I tell him that i dont take drugs and thats stupid and he goes on to say "well see about that" and gives me a full drug screen and a breatho, both come up negative, i laugh and he tells me to watch myself and drives off and i drive off in my defected ceffy, lucky i just put 9 months rego on it... Geez all this defect/cop trouble talk has reminded me about all the "funny" cop moments i have been witness to, i should post some up haha E.g. Can you believe the cops defected my pride and joy, i was minding my own business enjoying the breeze in my 1 and only convertable/ute handivan combo down anzac hwy at around 9:00pm on a friday night and outta no where the cops pull me over and defect me for car being "unsafe" i pointed out the "safety foam" but they didnt care, gave me 30 mins to get the car home (lol yea how funny is that they were ACTUALLY going to let me drive it home, shocked to say the least, i had to hold my door closed the entire time) but i told them that a trip up the freeway home to harndorf from here would take over 2 hours (only ran on 1 cylinder) as the top speed of this rig was around 17.29km/hr with a tail wind, how rude

Cable ties? Seriously though your asking to get pulled over with no front bar as its a cop maaagnettttt

Cefiro Engine Conversion - Which One?
Ceffy_SA replied to CAE's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I think the RB25DET route is a good one, i should have gone down that path when my RB20 gave way, instead i re built my RB20 as a project, was easier to keep the RB20 also as it has the correct engine number in case of defect. -
Hmm this is more of a whinge but Defects! I didnt even last a month this time i know my car is low but at least measure it not just assume People walking in front of you only to stop in their tracks and start talking to friends without warning blocking peoples path and almost tripping over them (May not seem like much but I work at the Uni and it happens allllll the time)
-
Dam, bored shitless at home, would have come out for a drive (if i have approval, no im not a cop lol) but my ceffy is defected and no police clearance as of yet, all i have is my magna
-
Hey mate, good write up, i will be going RB25 box soon in my ceffy
-
By the looks of it, i am 99% sure a R32 skyline lower hose would fit

My god that Viper is ugly, its like sandpaper to the eyes LOL at SteveP, i have been to Fiji too, home of the most riced up cars *shudders*
