  1. yea that seal is just a generic one, around $12 from nissan, i asked for a silvia/skyline one and it fit perfect, most nissans of that era are the same. I think if you put the new rubber seal in it will fix your fuel leaking problems as it is a pretty common problem
  2. Quick question, do you think 17x9 +20's all round with 225/40 tyres would be too much for a R32 GTST 2 door with stock guards at quite a low height (currently 17x7s all round, tyres in guards almost)?
  3. WRX... Put it in a Fiat Niki maybe?
  4. Looks good, sounds like it will have some good power too
  5. Thanks for the comments guys, i hate blowing my own horn so to speak but its still in really good condition, im not sure about the 280 dash, the car came with it from japan, i actually though i broke it the other day but it turned out to be the speedo cable *phew*. I had the vented guards put on a few years ago (paid $300 for them from viva garage/e-bay) but i dont really like them as they dont sit as perfect as the stocky ones did (anyone want to buy my vented ones lol).
  6. Yea i didnt think it would be an Autech ceffy, one could only hope though Still strange about the dash however, anyone else seen a 280km/ph one before?
  7. Ah well mine is probably not an Autech model, the engine isnt the original one though, was changed in japan to an RB20DET, did the Autech models come out with a RB20DE? Vin is A31-007166 here is a pic of the dash, never seen one in another ceffy before, and a pic of the car
  8. How can you tell, stupid question i know, but mine has a full Autech kit and a 280km/ph speedo and was factory maunal
  9. Getting a new one is a good idea, i broke mine recently and replaced it two weeks ago with a R32 skyline one which fit perfectly but who knows how long it will last for. P.S Your Ceff is looking very tough Huddy and you were doing really well at the Mallala prac last week, good work
  10. I would have thought std Rb20 injectors would do the job, im currently making 215RWKW (not that it means a great deal as all dynos are different) but many people have made 200RWKW and over with std injectors without maxing them out
  11. Some recent pics of my car, needs the front Fibre glass guards taken off and some spacers for the front too, currently looking very sad due to getting the thing ready for Regency
  12. Hmm interesting... Browsing through the net and shock horror a random pic of me (one on the left) haha... Brings back memories, ahh the good ol days Lyndon
  13. Just had my car tuned at turbo Tune, making 214RWKW on 15psi with a T3G turbo replacing the worn Rx7 turbo, dyno sheet to come soon, or Simon-R32 can vouch for it, you were at Turbo Tune when my car was being tuned.
  14. Hopefully this wednesday i will be adding Adj cam gears and getting another tune on the same dyno, same tuner and with the same mods (except for the Adj cam gears), ill keep people posted as it will be interesting to see what difference they make and at what settings on a Std cam stock internal RB20. Here is the Dyno sheet from my last tune on ~15 psi
  15. A31 1988 Cefiro Mods: Fresh STD rebuilt RB20 engine ~5000kms so far Boostworx remapped STD ECU (still untuned for new turbo), Bosch 040, Hybrid front mount, very quiet exhaust (3inch), Garret T3G turbo ~15psi, Blitz pod and HKS EBC 2. Now making 214RWKW at 15psi, dyno sheet to be updated soon
  16. I have had/have very similar rim sizes, 17x9 +35 will sit just in on totally stock guards with 235x45 tyres, i currently have 18x9 rims with a +38 offset and 235x45 tyres and on my un-rolled stock rear guards the tyres just scrape slightly over bumps with around -2 degrees of camber
  17. I recently bought a Garrett T3G (apparently an old'er version of the HKS 2530), its currently making 188RWKW without a tune on around 15psi, on my quite standard RB20 its making full boost (15psi) by 3200rpm in 3rd gear. I purchased the turbo for $1000 and its almost a bolt on affair (oil line mods and turbo outlet). Just another option for the RB20
  18. Good work! One little thing though, the pics for the Diana kit dont seem be there.
  19. Have you checked the timing on the engine, both the cam timing and also the ignition timing?
  20. Im pretty sure the engine in the Viva R324 or what ever it is seized up on Sat, bad luck for them as i believe its a RB26.
  21. Hey, i was out there in the White Cefiro with the vented front guards and CA18 silvia rear stockies, had a great time out there. All in all i was pretty crappy but i think i improved towards the end, was the frist time i have have ever "drifted" my ceff in the 3 years i have owned it so i think it was about time i gave it a go. I might have to get out there more often now, was too much fun to never go out there again. Too bad about your gear box troubles Luke when i actually got the chance to spectate you were doing really well and making it look easy... Brenton i saw in the Cefiro's part on this forum you were saying that your Crank angle sensor might be giving you trouble, i have some spare CAS's you can borrow or buy for cheap if it fixes the problem, i also have the loom and the two knock sensors from a RB20 spare if you want to borrow them too. By the way i was behind you on a couple of runs and you were really going hard, well done
  22. Car: 1988 A31 Engine: RB20DET Power: 190rwkw 15psi Performance Mods: hybrid RX7 turbo, 3inch exhaust, Hybrid front mount, Boostworx remap, blitz pod filter and HKS EBC. Dynoed: Boostworx When: Month ago
  23. ^^ Hey this is off topic but i have a couple of spare Crank angle sensors for a RB20 silvertop (old type and new), if you want you can borrow one off me to test it on your car to see if it fixes the problem, i also have some spare knock sensors too but i doubt it would be that (my car has had bad knock sensors for ages). By the way i was the dude in the pearl white ceff with the vented front guards at Mallala accross from you on Saturday, i was behind you in a couple of runs and you were doing really well
  24. That would do it i think, your current one may not have enough travel in it to fully close the waste gate flap allowing exhaust gasses to escape past it creating more lag.
  25. Sounds like you have the same problem as i did with my turbo, the waste gate as not sealing on the turbine housing letting exhaust gas bypass the exhaust turbing through the leaking waste gate. I could hear the waste gate "flap" rattling on the turbing housing when cruising around, all i did to fix it (a bit dodge) was bend the waste gate accuator arm outwards so that it was applying more force to the waste gate making it seal. Boost response went from 15psi at around 3800rpm to around 3200rpm, just make sure you dont bread anything if your going to bend the waste gate accuator arm and you dont go too far so it fouls on anything.
