hey does it just click or does it crank really slow?? plus double check the starter & battery terminals also you may have a volt drop on the switch wire to the starter when you mean its flat are you sure its flat like are you head lights dim?? will your radio work?? if they do well could possible be starter related

if not the battery or alt try checkin if the boot light is staying on nine times out of ten boot light switches move over time and cause the dramas

you all need to go to mt baw baw bout an hour and a 15 from melbourne ( start of mt!!) great climb with pub at top and well with this winter bad weather should not be a problem great drive to run in cars

just pick up pos +ve neg -VE and tacho feed from back of culster very easy job easier than finding pins on computer from dodgey pictures its all fused so no worrys to comp or any thing piece of piss

buyer beware !!! what would you do if it were an engine? or you sold him a turbo? looks good feels good etc. at the end of the day he makes the decision to buy SECOND HAND PRODUCTS so its up to his disgression! not yours on the choice to purchase the goods personally i think you are being too nice in tryin to help him out. these are the wheelings and dealings of the secondhand market research and knowledge is the key !! but whats to say he put them on straight away thinkin they were all good and in a month he found them to be no good would you think the same i dont think so!! just my 2 cents could be way off but just something to think bout! stick to your guns! he bought them as is his problem i believe

hi all i was wondering if any one out there knows where i can source an air con compressor for my r33 s 1.5 it has seized and i need a new one as im sick of my windows foggin up and cookin an a warm day (DAMN BLACK CAR!!) any ways can some one point me in to the right way of gettin one new- s/hand cheers any help would be great

ok well this is just my experiance with vehicle electrical systems being in the trade and all time and time again we do so many diagnostic checks on cars that customers bring in sayin what is wrong with it and what not we do our checks on a vehicle that is appearing to run ok. Now you have two choices to make send the car out after charging a small fee for you time and make them aware that no apparent fault was found BUT and i make this BUT very clear you vehicle may break down so that fault can not be blamed back on us . we also say the minute its giving trouble to bring it straight in so we can get a clear understanding of the problem because when a customer says my car is runnin rough it can mean many things,electrical,mechanical or fuel system roughness just because its fuel injected doesnt neccessarily make it a deffinet electrical problem Now the second option we can take is contact customer give them your previous problems you have had with that model car and suggest that we can replace possible problem or regular faulting parts but cannot guarantee that will fix the problem so i beleive what UAS did was listen to the symptons go on previous jobs done and replace what i could be now with you vehicle could be a number of things : wiring - including plugs to injectors,coil packs,igniter if you have one a dodgy terminal can cause a shit load of searching for!! individual coils?? this business is a difficult one to locate problems in electric/electronics and with many jobs we have done too the customer has to wear the cost of previous parts fitted it is just this trade makes problem finding difficult because ecus have a mind of there own when the play up and dont play up also half the ecu diagnoses crap that the ecu puts its is not even relevant to the problem so i dunno that is just my two cents worth may piss u off but thats just how i see your dilema

i reckin a good cruise would be from melb to healsville across to noojee then across to inverloch to phillip island up south gippy hiway back to dandy not a bad trip and you can meet up and so many different places just my 2 cents!

i have got much better fotos of the dyno cell ill post a few up tuf gtr very nice but that vl has had a lot of work done to it since last year mr trx has been doin some research this year with tuniing and what not btw he was not running 40-47 pound 37- 39 saw a nice r33 make over 300 at tyres not bad mild tune same as the 2.6 rodeo that made 600!! on race fuel though so not as comparible horspower to the rest of the othe vehicles all in all good nats. would of like to of seen more turbos this year but oh well beggers cant be choosers plus the dyno wasnt in na mode it was in non shootout mode which would of given him a less reading on the dyno the reason this happened was because you set the program up each time you start a new car on the dyno any ways heres some pics

I Have a Used R32 GTR Fuel Sender I think i ONly BOught it for the fuel Pump so im not sure what its out of i just know its a gtr pump so it could be r34 dont know also i dont know what they are worth but i am open to offers sms or pm 0417010483 also i have a K&N filter For sale Bolts up to z32 and rb25 air flow meter Both are in Good condition

could be out of gas the a/c switch runs through a relay to a pressure switch on the a/c lines detecting if it has gas in the system(pressure) if no gas the compressor will not run its a fail safe to stop the pump running dry

not sayin it is but have you checked your deck earth or did you get one out of the wiring loom? i always make my own earth eg screw to something metal thats my 2 cents!!

hey all i just in the process of doin the boot in my skyline and well i need some info on building sub boxes now i know a square box is terrible for sound so i want to know how big a box i should make and if i just put a 45 degree angle in the box? or what?? not sure at all i will be installing two 10 inch alpine subs one in each side ill be making a false floor for stashin stuff in and what not but i need to talk to some one who has done it before??? any thoughts,liinks advice would be great

nah problem isnt i installed too many things cos i put every thing back to stock dump and air pod and like i know what a fuel pump sounds like and sheesh i aint that stupid mechanical noise verses electrical noise to totally different sounds yeh well ive only done probly 150 kms max so hopefully i hasnt done any damage

hi all just wanting to pick some of your brains i recently have just upgraded my car these are the following mods: Hi Flow Turbo wont mention who off just yet Gtr Fuel pump ARC Front MOunt 3 inch dump back zorst hks pod or a k& N stainless twin dump pipe power fc to go in but not in and z32 meter now the car was running fine before i did the hi flow stainless dump and fuel pump but now i have put this turbo on i get a really annoying whirring noise as well as the normal induction sucking noise now i first thought boost leak but i have check and re tightened all clamps second i thought turburlance at theh new dump but to no avail with standard on it stilll makes this noise its hard to explain what it sounds like very much like a hair dryer goin flat out really hi pitched whine? the car makes boost fine doesnt fluctuate or any thing i have check both compressor and exhaust wheels to see if they are touchin housings or are dammaged but nothing found shaft play is wat you expect for a new turbo NONE so what the hell iis this noise because i want to get it sorted so i can take it to get pfc tuned!!! any thoughts would be great

well as being as air con fella my self ive found that a air con system i presurised so if you gunna go crackin valves or fittings be prepared for a lot of cold cas and a bit of oil exiting the system i would get a pro to vac the system a colect the gas it aint hard but there probaaly is a reason its blocked as in something got stuck in it so you might wanna look into it a bit more than just replacein a tx valve just my thoughts thats all
