Hey All. Silver 93' R33 Skyline GTS-t M-Spec. Rego: ACT YDO-32P. 148,000 Km's. I tired selling my car earlier this year, but i wasn't really serious about it. Now I am serious about it. Have just bought a 2nd house and unfortunately now its time for my baby to go. It serves currently as my daily driver and is always garaged and serviced every 5000 - 7000km's. Have just fitted new Front and Rear brake pads and will service the car again in the coming couple of weeks. Mechanically the car is great and has been ridiculously reliable over the entire 7 years I've owned it. Mods include: Engine: Full 3" Turbo back exhaust (Titanium from cat back!) Nismo FMIC HKS Super Sequential BOV Blitz Airpod Oil Catch Can JJR Coilpacks Chipped ECU Suspension: HSD type HR Coilovers Front Sturt brace Lower Control Arms Tie Rod Ends Whiteline Sway Bars All Bushes Upgraded HICAS Lockout Bar Brakes: DBA 4000 Slotted Rotors Bendix Ultimate Pads (New front and rear pads fitted 4/10/2010) Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines Front calipers repainted red Motul RBF 600 Fluid Custom Front Brake Air Ducting Drivetrain: Kaaz 1.5 way Mech LSD JJR Single Plate Ceramic Button Clutch Wheels: 17" Blitz R Racing Wheels Exterior: Nismo Front Bar 400R Side Skirts Adjustable GTR rear wing Full Nismo decals Nismo Clear Side Indicators Interior: Bride Bucket Racing Seats Custom Rear Parcel Shelf Panasonic Head Unit Pioneer 4-way speakers A-Pillar Mounted Boost Gauge Oil Temp Gauge White Dials Momo Gear Knob Apexi Turbo Timer The car was last dyno'd with 209rwKw @ 11 PSI. It is running the Mines ECU (or atleast a piggybacked ECU) which gives 12:1 AFR's no matter what boost you run. Will do 1.09's around Wakefield Park with the old Federal 595 RS street tyre. All the suspension componets are adjustable. The rear parcel shelf has 2 trap doors in it so you are able to access the top of the rear struts so you can adjust the rear damper. The car is fantastic for all driving types and will impress when pushed. A couple of things to note is the passenger side skirt has some minor damage (pictured). It is cracked in a few places and I no longer have the funds to fix it. To compensate for this, a set of 17” Volk rims (pictured) will be sold with the car for no extra price. Also the passenger seat has a couple of wear marks on the bolsters (pictured) and the drivers door interior is cracked wear the drivers elbow sits. Asking $11,000 on Car Sales but for fellow SAUer's I'll do for $9,000 firm. I know you can get newer ones for less money, but this is as close to a unique R33 as you'll get! $700 is a bit steep for all the interior parts. would be surprised if you got more than $300 for the lot! willing to part with both door trims for $70?

I apologise for my error and I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive this mis-information... Basically all the info I've heard about the R34 turbo is that it breaks more easily than its older sibblings when boosted. Probably helped if I actually spoke to an R34 owner! But I guess a big part of it comes down to how it has been treated over its life...

I'm bored at work, so I'm gonna pick apart Reece's argument The R32 gearbox is the same as the R31 box and yes, its not a weak box, but it is not strong either (I define a weak gearbox as the S15 6 speed). Give it some bad treatment and it wont last very long. The R33 gearbox is a big improvement over the old one and it will definately handle more punishment than its predecessor. Its what a lot of people use for moderately powered (400kw) RWD RB26 conversions. I read line that in an old HPI once, so there Another good argument for them is that mine is still going as strong as ever after all the skid pan and trackdays that i've done over the years! I'm surprised that you didn't mention the better diff that the R32 has.... You've listed price as a negative for the R34. I dont agree. For about $8000 you can get a fairly nice, stockish R32. For an R33 your looking at about $10,000 for a good one and for an R34 your looking at about $12,000 for a good stock one if you look around a bit. A difference of $4000 isn't that big of a gap for a much newer and better all round car. Saving money harder or for a little longer would be well worth it. I reckon the R33 handles better than the R32 in stock form. I also reckon you dont need to spend more money on handling if you own an R33. For the same money you can get nearly the same parts for both models. Most coilovers are put into the same category by manufacturers, therefore making the price nearly the same. Also springs and shocks are pretty close too. If there is a difference in price, it wont be a big one. Of course feel free to correct me if I'm way off! And the difference in weight isn't as big as everyone is making out to be. Its around the 150Kg mark give or take, which in terms of street cars isn't a huge difference. You wont notice it when driving around town. You might notice it at Wakefield Park after you've spent some money on the suspension along with good tyres and brakes. Even then, unless your doing 1.12's or less, you still wont notice a huge difference... OK, moving away from there now, something else to think about with the R34 is the turbo. The R32 and R33 use a ceramic wheel turbo and can be boosted higher and more easily. The R34 uses a nylon wheel turbo which is much weaker than the others and can't be boosted without running into big problems. DriftGTS had an R34 turbo on his RB20 for a short while. He ran it at 10psi for about 4 weeks before completely destroying it! Yes he gave it a hard time, but it still would have happened sooner rather than later. I've been running 11psi on my standard R33 turbo for about 2 years now and its still going strong. My 2 cents... Again! Yes I am bored...

I've wanted these wheels ever since i 1st saw them on the car, years ago. they are easily one of the best rims i've ever seen on an R33! the photos dont them justice. you gotta see these in the flesh... Good luck with the sale....

yes, another valid point... and an option worth considering.

i wouldn't buy any GTR for 10K! most likely it'll leave you disappointed as you'll probably need to sink big dollars into it just to get it going properly! most guys i know who own R32's eventually put the R33 motor and gearbox into them anyway! if it was me, i'd go the R33, but i am biased. however you cant ignore the fact of the much better, stronger and more reliable motor and gearbox the R33 has compared to the R32. the R33 also has bigger brakes (same as R32 GTR) which also makes a big difference. just do some research, take your time and figure out which one you'd prefer. plus, my R33 will be for sale towards the end of the year

Well that was great fun! wet at the start so drifting was the flavor of the 1st session, but then it dried out which led the way to an SAU victory! Reece set the fastest time with a 32.4 closely followed by myself with a 32.5 then one the supra guys managed a 32.6 and James rounded out the top 4 with a 32.7. those who missed out, missed some great fun.... Thanks to natett and the supra guys for organising it. i know i'll be attending more supra club events if the invite gets extended our way again!

You'd get a good stockish R33 for that price too. then you'd get the better motor and gearbox as well....

i vote for either the 31st July (Sat) or 1st August (Sun). this gives people plenty of notice/time to get funds organised and because it is further in advance you should get more people. i just hope they dont call an election between now and then otherwise im out!
