  1. cheers oscar. it aint so smick now! throw in some track/skidpan days and a lack of money and it slowly goes downhill from there. as for the brakes, a seal in the reservoir decided it didn't like the heat and was slowly leaking every time i stood on the skids until it ran out of expensive brake fluid! lucky it didn't start happening until after the trackday a couple of weeks ago!
  2. im out. sorry guys. dont you hate it when your brakes stop working!?!
  3. hasn't been in past years but with 3G you might be able to pick up a weak signal??
  4. thanks for putting those up mick geez you got a good photographer
  5. if the car is actually running fine while its working its more than likely an electrical problem. if its got an immobiliser than you should have it removed and buy a new one as its probably cutting in whenever it feels like it...

  7. they did miss an awesome day! some high quality cars there through a range of the nissan vehicles. Kat had the best white r32 GTR there!
  8. some good pics there stinky... you can see the marshal about to tell me and reece to move apart in the last photo. we were much closer than that on previous laps . And if any one wants to know how much of a difference brake ducting makes than look at the 1st photo. if you look closely my rears are glowing and my fronts aren't! i do recommend it for any trackdays you might do....
  9. was an awesome day! everyone drove well with only a couple of cars having dramas. big ups to reece for having the showdown of the year with me!! was close buddy, but i think i won that round!! we were dicing so closely that the officials told us to separate! Zane did a great job too. in fact everyone did. was good to put some faces to names as well. thanks too go out to stinkypoo for taking some happy snaps. cant wait to see em!
  10. sorry to get the discussion back on topic but i vote for 20th for xmas cruise. also just so people are aware, the cotter dam rebuild started about a week ago and i think there were intending on shutting down the park/bbq area just in front of the dam. that might mean road closures, so would be good to double check the route before a final decision is made...
  11. Hey All, I know a few of us are participating/watching this event on Sunday so I thought I'd organise a meeting point and time for those who want to cruise up as a group. It takes around an hour and 15 min to get there and we should arrive a bit early so we can get ourselves organised and fill out paper work etc.. We will be leaving at 6.40am SHARP so don't be late. Here it is... Where: Shell Gateway servo at EPIC When: 6.30am arrival for a 6.40am departure. SHARP! What: Cruise to Maurlen Driving Training Center Please add your name to the list if your intending on meet up so we know who and how many are coming. Cheers... Frink
  12. was a good showing. i haven't been for a while so was good to catch up with peep's....
  13. parked next to one of the 5th Gear mini's this morning at lanyon shops a bit after 10. had number 1 on the side so i assume thats derreck's car?
  14. i'll head out and show everyone what happens to an r33 after a stroke!!
  15. ppffffttt! "ITS BRINGING LOVE, BREAK ITS LEGS!!"
  16. Just found a picture of my R33 with the Volks bolted on. I dunno 'bout you guys, but i reckon they look pretty sweet for 17's!
  17. yeah they were a fraction too wide on the rear. perhaps your offsets are slightly different because of the AWD? I've had these on both R32 and R33 gts-t's without any drama's in the past... Price is negotiable people...
  18. need spacers for both, but i have never encountered a problem with them, even on the track!! the spacers are required because the actual wheel PCD is 5x100 and the spacers change it to the correct PCD size... haven't we tried fitting these to your car a couple of years ago?? seriously guys, these wheels look uber cool on an R33....
  19. Hey All, I've had these Volk GT-C series 1's for about 5 years now. Recently they've just been sitting in my garage taking up space so I figure its time they went to a new home. They are all in pretty good condition however they are not new and do have a few little nicks and scratches on them. The wheels also require spacers to fit which are all included. They look very tough on most cars they sit on, giving it dish and an old skool racing stance. They are pretty light weight and are genuine Rays/Volk wheels. If your interested in having a look at them in the flesh then just PM me and we can organise where and when. I'm on holidays until next year so I'm pretty flexible! Would prefer local sale and pick-up because I'm lazy, but will consider shipping at buyers expense if they don't sell after a little while... Volk Racing GT-C series 1 Wheels PCD: 114.3 Fronts: 17x8, +36 offset. (Spacers required and included) Rears: 17x9, +33 offset. (Spacers required and included) Price: $900 ono
