yeah my car ive had almost a year now... every month it breaks down some how so i have to blow my load.. i mean my pay load... so im working to keep my car on the road... which is giving me a way to work... so it equals its self out... thats why im getting a new car soon as...

yeah they do have a massive "street cred" only because in 2f2f the skyline won and not the supra!!! also alot of people mistake a gts-t for a gtr... i think gtr is what makes the street cred. and word skyline gives the rest of the street cred to the gts-ts but all and all... every single car theres alot out there!.. well most.. for example i see alot of stock commadores... and i dont give a second look coz it aint a poser or a "racer" etc etc... same with skylines... see alot of stock r33's and i dont give a second look.... but if its got mods... you look coz u know the person likes to mod... so whats under the hood??? or whats up in the hood...

if it was going into a skyline... just the rb... unless you was 600hp... go jz... im also thinking of a NA supra... just because there are kits out there for say 8K and it gives you garrentied 600hp...

as i always say.... just race. i raced my mates v8 5litre (statesmen) with a claimed 192kw... he bet my by a car length..... considering my car is a sr20de front wheel drive auto... he won... but was dissapointed coz i was right behind him. i belive if i was manual it would be neck and neck or i would beat him. only reason he won was because he took off from the word go and i caught up to him after first.... i reakon the silvia range are good bang for buck, specialy s13's 180s and s15's. they can be just as quick 2, being 200kg's lighter, heard alot that get to 250rwkw no probz. only thing is i hear of them crashing all the time... people losing it in the wet... tisk tisk

dont forget the supra, its also in the price range. so lets take r33 gtr and supra. cost less then the new bf or whatever. there proven the test of time and also there super carness... high mod all 3 of them and youll get 2 awesome drag / circut cars. and 1 burnout car... in the end its still a family car with a bit of go compared to 2 super tuner cars. also with the r33 gtr and supra... youll have alot of stares... but in the ford youll have lots of stares because there trying to figure out if its there dad coz they own the exact same car in the exact same color with the same rims... and also there trying to figure out if your the same person that just drove past... but you wernt, it was someone else that wasnt there dad in the exact same car... PS. disgusting how that magzine compared the r34 GTR to the ford... yuk... r34 gtr is king

i belive the 2K would cover those costs aswell. and ive noticed prestige prices seem lower then others (looks dodgy, but i belive its not) i also think if you want to get a car cheaper, get them to find you one threw the auctions and not one in there stock. im not from sydney but dealerships usual charge anywhere from 2-5k more then what you can get them threw import or private but they are meant to give you the benefit of (usauly detailed) less hassle, almost buy and drive away. but personal id probs import, then when in the country take it to a VERY GOOD detailers so they make the car look brand new... should do the trick

i think its clear that a car with the same power and same weight the 4wd would win but im guessing if you set up a rwd decent (even if you set the 4wd good aswell) it would be the same...

after putting a POD on my car, i noticed it was smooth/quicker reving at HIGH revs, but low down is really really bad and slow... i want to go back to the factory box. and i think a factory box with a high flow panel is perfectly good untill you start making some real high hp

in a mag (i think autosalon) that exhaust quieting thing won first prize for most useful mods. eg when you get defected for noise, turn it down...

i was watching one of those tuning DVD's and with a r33 gtr the guy tuned it with race fuel, higher boost, low psi in tyres, some suspension (rear sway bar or something i cant remmeber) and did a high 11. something like 250kw

tell him to stop playing gran turismo.... oh wait.. if he played that then he would proberly know more then he does now...

people say you loose boost but remember the exhaust coming out is still traveling fast so by the time your in the next gear and the bov is closed there still should be boost there.... RIGHT?

good to see people importing the super cars of the turbo world. cant go past gtr's and supras

i worked in a cyclinder head recondition place for awhile and we got falcon heads 10 times a day and vl / commodore heads 5 times a day. but we never ever got a rb30 head off a skyline... never... and my boss said to me. they never get em. only VL's coz they fudged it up. if you wanna fit into the bogan scene get a VL and do it up... get the r31, do it up and it wont look so bad. look tuff etc. but prepare to be mocked by other skyline drivers that drive anything newer....

i had a leaking radiator and a stuff thermostat... my temp gauge never read over half even thought it proberly was over heating... never had a problem.. but i took it to the radiator place and he replaced the top tank, $130 something like that. but i do alot of town driving and it never goes over half way but the heat from the engine bay feels so intense that i really really belive it does over heat... and the over flow tank, yeah ive noticed sometimes theres nothing in there and sometimes its full...

listen man, if you can afford it buy it. BUT ONLY if your willing to get a 5K loan or can afford about 5K for insurance... as for a second car im looking at a TT supra and im willing to fork over 5K for insurance.... alot better then losing 30K in one shot! i got qouted by aami? 2K to insure my NXR, which is NA, auto and front wheel drive... i mean... god damn... 2K a year for a 6K car... thats a joke! ive been driving on my P's since the start of the year and i havnt got a single pin dent since ive been driving. and to talk about experience... i deliver pizzas (fastest pizza boy in town, wanna challenge?) 100K's a day, 700K's a week and thats all town driving... every single K of it. thats day and night, hot, cold, rain, storm, peak traffic, no traffic, dick heads on the road. grannys on the road. theres been drags on deliverys... theres been chicks distracting me.. but anyways buy the car if your willing to get it insured... if not... buy a car less then $500... thrash it, crash it, learn your shiz... then buy the high pro car... yeah?

what car is this setup in? and did you have to get any aftermarket internals to be able to hold that shot of power? any legal issues? i reakon there should be more NOSed cars

1 question, how do you work with annoying fussy sellers? eg they work and can only be available weekends when all the work shops are closed? i faced this problem and couldnt get RACV to check out the car coz he was working or they didnt work weekends (or maybe they do and the weekend was to far away) also if there busy and you want to take the car to workshops etc. mayb they dont have all day etc etc... or should all buyers just not bother and walk away if they dont co-operate?
