  1. i tested mine at the drags and sound was fine... I strapped it to a couple of cars at QR, and accidentally left it on HI instead of LO sound.   3. Hey, you guys with the simple $3k trailer, can someone tell me the witdth of the trailer at it's widest point? (I guess wheel arches). I am sorting a gate out this afternoon at my place, and need to make sure as a general a trailer will fit in... Cheers Michael

  5. Hey Andrew, not your fault mate. ACPT have offered to ship the shaft back to the US at their cost, check the balancing etc, if it is out, refund me. Truth is, I do want the shaft. I might try somewhere local and just lump the costs... Mick

  8. Hey mate, sorry. My car isnt anything special. I'm sure it isnt a great example. But hey, it still ran 11.13 @ the drags on 18inch falkens. 2.6, no head work, GT35R with a 6boost collector style steampipe manifold, 272 10mm lift cams still set to 0 on the cam gears... I'm only 20psi My dyno sheet reads 4500 - 225 HP 5500 - 355 HP 6500 - 410 HP 7500 - 430 HP I recon we can get it on earlier if we dial in the cams and with more boost much more mid-range power.

  10. thats not a real dyno graph. its one someone has manually made to compare, and between a hub dyno and a dynodyamics dyno. lets start uploading more dyno graphs then we will get a better picture. When we have see say 5 of each on a 2.6 RB26 then we will have a better idea.... Michael
  11. yeah i was dissapointed at the balance weight on the shaft also. In terms of the spacer we made up if it came with the correct parts, I wouldnt have a problem... I really am over it, I don't want to be spending money going to a shop getting it balanced when it should come from the factory ready to go. Time and money... Don't want to be spending the next 3 months fitting and re-fitting the thing trying to get it right. Shouldnt have to. I'll contact ACPT today, I expect nothing less than money back. I will happily ship this junk back to the states as long as they are paying. Mick
  12. I want progressive power delivery with a good range of power making the car actually faster on the road. not a power band that comes in like a brick wall and fries the tires! I had a 400kw GTR with a HKS T04R kit that done that, and the 35R is a much faster car.

Would be very responsive. I have just recently taken off an Apexi IHI RX-6 TCW77P25 single turbo off my RB26 (it's rated to 500hp if I recall) it is a small turbine, the rear and outlet looks almost T25. lol I ran 290 aw kw all day every day 18psi with insane response. It done 11.5 @ 124mph and was very quick around QR. I think a GT30 is a good option for someone who won't ever want the 350kw+ power levels... I am all for sizing your turbo for what you want. Don't go too big for your needs... Same thing with the T04Z. Would only get it if I wanted and needed over 400kw... Michael

Hey guys Okay the source of my very severe vibration in the car when travelling anything over 90-100kph (which is a major problem when the car does over 200kph on every lap of the circuit and does the drags at 200kph) is............ THE ACPT CARBON FIBRE DRIVESHAFT ! whooohooo. I'm so happy! NOT. FFS. First I pay a reputable garage to fit the shaft. Then I remove it, and whooshka, problem goes away. But just to be certain, I re-fit the CF shaft to ensure correct fitting 200% ! - Problem come back identical. Remove again, and problem gone. What a peice of Junk. Very unhappy customer that wan't his money back and will throw this rubbish in the bin... (On a side note, I can defo feel a little less responsiveness through the gears with it removed! lol) Cheers chaps. Mick

  21. i've owned a GTR with a HKS T04R, and fark that. For circuit, GT35 all the way.
