  1. Cafe too far away! I was thinking same as PI... where ever the Squires BBQ is, since that is where the people are! PC with USB Tuner if we can get a decent FTA signal going? Not sure if there is a generic web stream or it will be simulcast on tenplay? Streaming B12HR was perfect all day Saturday but then complete fail Sunday so need contingencies this time.
  2. Entered. Now to figure out how we get a TV going with the F1 coverage for the day....
  3. Looking forward to this one. Is there going to be an entry cap? Winton sorta sucks with 80+ cars
  4. Epic weekend. Scruinteering consisted of handing over a form in exchange for a sticker, have never seen that before. Massive turn out... a few PB's too 1 7 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Chris Thomson Nissan GTR 3000 H S29 1:41.6023 3 57 Skylines Australia Vic Inc John Richardson Nissan Skyline R33 G 2500 H S16 1:44.4011 4 4 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Aaron Barnes Nissan R35 GTR 3800 J S6 1:45.9484 6 26 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Chris Madden Nissan GTR 2600 H S21 1:47.3101 2 134 Skylines Australia Vic Inc John Olasau Nissan Skyline 2600 D S31 1:51.5053 1 6 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Dave Marinucci Toyota 86 1998 F S23 1:52.1412 15 58 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Brett Stuchbery Holden Commodore VX 5700 H S14 1:56.6152 10 46 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Michael Eichorn Nissan Skyline R34GT 2600 J S31 1:56.6655 18 14 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Darren Cox Nissan Skyline R32 G 2568 H S27 1:57.7268 4 79 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Matt Lowth Lotus Exige S 3500 D S27 1:57.7350 3 90 SAU Christopher Starr BMW 328is G S32 1:58.1861 21 63 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Michael Brne Nissan Skyline GTR 2600 H S32 1:58.6091 5 2 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Alex Barnes Holden Genf GTS 6162 D S8 1:58.6318 22 22 SAU Vic Clive Smaill Mitsubishi Evo 6 2000 H S27 1:58.6481 23 55 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Andrew Collins Nissan R31 Skyline 2699 H S31 1:59.0618 24 43 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Matthew Borci Nissan Skyline GTR 2600 H S9 1:59.5595 7 94 Skylines Australia Vic Inc James Maxwell Nissan Skyline 2600 D S10 1:59.7118 10 47 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Ash Cosgriff HSV Clubsport 6300 D S31 2:01.1180 8 61 Victorian 86/BRZ Club Inc Craig Furniss Subaru BRZ 1998 F S20 2:01.8772 11 15 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Aidan Mongor Nissan Silvia 1998 D S24 2:02.2127 5 33 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Tony Olsson Nissan Skyline R33 G 2500 I S14 2:02.2915 27 99 SAU Glenn Dunn Nissan Skyline 2499 H S19 2:02.5836 2 9 Victorian 86/BRZ Club Inc Tim Watson Toyota 86 1998 B S5 2:03.0744 28 49 Skylines Australia Vic Inc Anthony Tran Nissan Skyline R34 G 2498 H S28 2:03.3217 3 555 Victorian 86/BRZ Club Inc Juliette Remfrey Subaru BRZ 1998 B S10 2:09.1002 29 45 SAU Simon Henman Mitsubishi Evo 2000 H S10 2:14.1355
  5. Commodore drivers, think they're racing everything!
  6. Dunno about that, most of the 86's I see have stupidly sized wheels, lowered to the bump stops with all the camber for hard parking meets. Then the ones that try to drive fast with TC/DSC off end up as parted out wrecks at Import Monster
  7. Does the club have enough to buy a shitter and start a new championship.... SAU'er in a reasonably priced car?
  8. I'm in for both days now. So much for spending less on track days this year, that'll be 3 PI days in the first 6 weeks of the year heh
  9. Good. Much prefer the idea of doing Winton with Circuit Club rather than AROCA. Others won't like that it is on F1 Saturday but I don't get given corp tickets so really couldn't care less hehe.
  10. Entered. Whole online entry is easy as once you have your profile setup.
  11. Entered Sunday, trying to convince myself not to do Saturday.
  12. Haven't entered yet but I will at some point. At the briefing they usually ask if there are any first timers. Just let them know and they'll either do a parade lap at low speed or get an experienced driver to passenger with you on the first session. Didn't think they did at the last one, might depend on how many entries and the time spread? They might factor in the car class for groupings along with specified time. Both are on the My Car page on www.meecamsau.com. Most people would be E-H? 13. But you did miss out? You wanted to win !
  14. Repost from the last meeting thread for whoever is following this one (and to put John out of his misery hehe) No idea what is happening on the presentation/trophy front but here are the results none the less... 16. lol you crazy kids with your cheater turbos
  17. Is that code for cheater spec bits so you can beat the prius at the island
  18. Yeah what Ash said, I would have come if not for a wedding. Did Rexmas 2 years ago, was a fun day and a lot more relaxed with passengers allowed and no timing than the usual sprint days.
  19. Their site had issues with hyphens in the user name first time I tried, guy that runs it sorted it out though. Championship results were left in the hands of the committee not long after the final PI round but no further updates required that I'm aware of.
  20. Was doing it the same way but maybe I'm just too lazy/patient. Want one click does all hehe
  21. Thought I was used to road noise with my tin can, country roads are fairly horrible on the AD08's as is. As John said I cbf'd changing them as I was gonna get top gear'd lol. Not sure I'll bother with semi's just yet, still plenty of grip on the AD08R's. I reckon I can get into the 56's with them, maybe even a 55 which is plenty fast enough for now.
  22. I was not expecting that hum from the A050's, never used semi's before. The drive home was unpleasant to say the least. Will stick with the AD08R's for a while though, plenty more time in them. John, how much work is involved in sync'ing the videos and data? I find racerender with just one video and the data a complete pain in the arse to line up. Also, check out this site - https://serious-racing.com/ You can upload GPS data from various apps and loggers to compare 4 of your own laps or one against up to 4 other people. It's pretty cool. I'm on there as my username here (as is Aaron).
  23. I actually completely forgot about it by the time I got home
  24. Bathurst + V8SC is difficult enough without trying to mix up the MX5 or spec racer lol Haven't fired this up for ~2 months but not sure I'll be motivated enough to plug the wheel in tonight as I really dislike Charlotte.
